I bought these in 2011 & 2012 and they were big, so I ordered a size down at those times, as per many reviews. BUT....NOW, they are much smaller in 2013! The two pair now are tight, tight, tight, especially in hips/butt.
If you can make these in two styles, one in a full elastic waist and fuller in the hips and one in the kind you have now, a "more modern" look of tighter in hips/butt, you will sell more of these. I want these baggy because the material doesn't stretch, but if there was a fully elastic waist, it would help them stay up and yet be comfortable.
You are the only place I know of that sells these and sells them in Plus sizes! THANK YOU! I wear them every day in the summer at the water and they are comfy, pretty and durable.
PLEASE make more, revise to two styles and also make more colors!
I would order this is Navy, Red, Hot Pink, all colors!
In your swimwear, please make navy, red for red/white/blue motif, as these are very hard to find--especially in a plus size. The last few seasons the only navy had pink or red had black on them everywhere I looked.
I hope this review gets read by LL Bean more than other customers!

I am 5 feet 2 inches so these pants were ankle length for me. Used them on the Camino Frances and their performance was outstanding. Very light weight and dried extremely quickly and durable. Would recommend a small modification of a hook closure deep in the pocket.

These pants are great as a swim bottom, cover up, or on a hot summer day when shorts not appropriate. The "womens" size fit comfortable and look great without being balloon bottoms when they are wet. Wish they came in more colors! Great for kayaking, bicycling, hiking.

Oh my Gosh these use to be so much better 15 yrs ago, still have the ones from 15 yrs ago. They did away with the NAVY CAPRI and NAVY SHORTS...its was the best color also BLACK but they remade them and the fit is not like it use to be with elastic...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLE FIT and the NAVY COLOR, I'M BEGGING YOU'LL.!!!!!

Very comfortable--but they gap at the backside. Elastic all the way around would help. I am keeping them, so I will sew some elastic in myself.

Bought the white pants in xs. The pockets show through very prominently. They are also an awkward length - I am 5'5" and 115 lbs and the pants are about 4 inches above my ankles - they look quite dowdy as the legs are very full. Sending them back.

They're not true to size. I love these, the fabric is great and I could imagine myself living in them all summer. I ordered two pair and tried both on when they arrived and they are enormous. I'm a 4-6, more towards a 6 but the butt and legs were so baggy. Just to be sure, I tried both pair (2 different colors) and it was same fit with both. I'm so disappointed but will continue to look for something similar.

Great material, dries easily. Fit is too large around the waist not enough bottom room. The draw strings are essential.

I went to the beach yesterday and wore these capris. I wore them in the water as my legs are not in good shape. They dried very fast and are very, very comfortable. I may buy another color as I love, love them.
