I bought this in black to pair with the black/lapis swim jogger top, as an alternative to the shorts offered in that line. It was a good match, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I have an hourglass shape, and although the fit seemed correct (I'm usually a 10 or 12, and went with the 12 - any larger would have been too loose in the waist), the skirt stretched across my hips in an unflattering way. It made me look bottom-heavy, like I was trying to hide more flaws than I may actually have. To work for me, the skirt needs more of an a-line or flouncy shape. If you have a straighter build, this may be a great option for you. The material and quality looked great. I was disappointed that it wasn't going to work.

First let me say that I really dislike bathing suit shopping, but I ordered the scoopneck top and matching skirt and was very pleased. The fabric is lovely and the fit is flattering. The skirt provides enough coverage while allowing for movement- it is great for kayaking.

great material and fit; i don't wear bathing suits much anymore but liked to have one in case. just back from Bermuda and worn it all week - washed it gently as directions said; and the wide elastic at the band is now flipped and bunched ..... must have gotten a poorly made one - went online to see if had any left in pink'fuschia color and all gone ....will have to replace the elastic now and see if it can be better sewn in ..... and i was so pleased with it at beach -- o well... such great material should be fairly easy to fix. I bought a blue one too and no problems with it.

Very comfortable ... dries quickly ... perfect for swimming or just lounging in the sun ... beautiful colors ... I bought another set in a different color after wearing the first set. Best fitting bathing suit I have ever owned.

I like this bottom. The only suggestion I have to offer is to add slits on either side of the skirt. The length is great - not too long. I bought it to go with the scoop neck tank. I am in my 60's and a size large. This suit fit very well. It is pricey but if you like it it's worth the cost

I liked this item's overall quality but the fit wasn't right for me. The 12 was too tight around the backside (had the proverbial 'pull' effect) and the 14 was too big on me. Felt like it would fall down if I was chasing my toddler down the beach. I was not surprised at this, however, because this happens to me a lot. I am 'in between' sizes. I thought the bright pink was too bright and would have gone with the black if this item was an option for me. I ended up returning both sizes and unfortunately LL Bean did not have anything else I could wear this summer. Bummer!

A great piece that fits nice-no tugging, no riding up the bottom, hides tummy, and flirty. Great skirt to be confident in while trying to loose weight.
