Rated 3 out of 5 by SweaterGal007 Nice t-shirt but color is different from photo
I needed new t-shirts and thought I would buy a quality one. I purchased the large in Coral (I'm a size 10 with C cup bust for reference#. It was a nice tshirt and fit nicely with extra room #if you want something fitted this is not the shirt for you). But my problem was the color. I bought coral but it looks really orange in person. So I am returning it.

Shame on me for not paying attention to all those who said the armholes were too large!! For the average person they are HUGE.
And for me the shirt was much too long.I will return and try another style The fabric is so soft and silky feeling. I love Bean's tees.

Rated 3 out of 5 by pecan Not as "breatheable" as Bean's Cotton Tees
I preface this review by saying that I am a baker and bought these shirts, along with Bean's Tees, as my work shirts a little over a year ago. As advertised, the Carefree Unshrinkable T-shirts keep their length (as opposed to the Bean's Tees which shrink in length so that after a few months of washings, they no longer stay "tucked in"). I had 2 issues with the Unshrinkable T-shirts. The main one was that they did not "breathe" as well as a regular all cotton T-shirt. This may not be an issue for everyone, but in a warm bakery, I would sweat in the Unshrinkable shirt but not in the regular Tee. I got the same size in both types of shirts, and the Unshrinkable one fit closer to the body while the Bean's Tee was cut looser. The Unshrinkable Tee was not too snug though, and felt & looked good, but it made me feel warm & sticky. The other issue I had was that it did stain and did not look great after a few weeks of wear. Again I preface this by saying that I got all the shirts in white, and they were worn as work shirts in a bakery. Maybe other colors would not show general dirt as much. After a few weeks, the Unshrinkable shirt no longer looked very clean after washing, so I bleached it (The "care" instructions do say "no bleach"). This turned the shirts gray. The regular Bean's Tees stained, but I could make them white again with bleach. Bleaching is not an option for the Unshrinkable Tees. They no longer looked good enough to wear at work. And since they make me feel warm & sticky when I wear them, I won't wear them for yard work either. So I had to throw them out. Bottom line is that I prefer the Bean's Tees over the Unshrinkable ones, but I'm not happy with the amount of shrinkage on the Bean's Tees either, so I may be looking elsewhere for a new work shirt.

Holds shape after wash, and looks classy. Would like more light colors that reflect hot sun in summer.

Short story: Shrinks and looks old after one wash.
Long story: I got this in my normal size and it looked great upon arrival, but was a little big. I decided to go with it since I want to wear it in two days, so I tossed it in the wash. It came out much smaller - shrank all over and a lot in length. It's now quite small. It also looks old, like I've had it for a long time. A little disappointed. I'll keep it because I washed it and I'm losing weight, so it will fit later...I think.

by IreneII Seam Quality Significantly Degraded
I was going to buy some new tees and when I keyed in the old product code, this is the tee shirt that came up. I ordered several but when they arrived, the degradation of the quality from the previous version of this tee was significant. The previous version was a little beefier AND had pretty double needle flat felled seams on the shoulder and sleeve seams. This new LL Bean version is available from less upscale vendors for $5, not the $15 LL Bean price. Really LL Bean?? You too? Please bring back quality seams on the women's tees. My entire order is in the mail back to you.

Love these tees. Look forward to the new seasonal colors. Like the size and fit. Not clingy. Washes well. Wish they bring back the pale pink. Like to see a pale yellow too. Sleeves perfect, please keep the length.

Rated 1 out of 5 by junipergerry change in cut and quality
I purchased these in the past and loved them.. The fabric on my recent purchase is thinner and scratchy and the cut is off. I purchased the 2X...the sleeve length is at least an inch (maybe 2 inches) too short for the size and as others have mentioned the shoulders are cut larger than the middle. Colors are nice, but I will have to return as the sleeve length makes them unwearable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DavisGardener Neck too high
The shirt is OK, but the neck is cut too high to really be comfortable and look nice. I'll send this one back. Please, LL Bean, consider cutting the neck just a little lower, 1-1/2" to 2" should be plenty! I don't want a low-cut shirt, but do need a little more room to breathe, especially on a hot summer day!
