Rated 3 out of 5 by SFgal Doesn't fit quite right
This is my first time ordering these shirts after years of ordering the Pima Cotton Shirts and Bean T's. I ordered the Mineral Red Heather and Chalk Blue. I am very pleased with the colors, and they both go with the Freeport Flannel Shirt in Raw Indigo, which I ordered at the same time. However, the fit is odd. I ordered a Large, which is the norm for me when a garment is described as "slightly fitted." The shirts are too large in the bust and underarm area but fit OK elsewhere. Because these will be layered under other shirts, I decided to keep them because the colors are nice and the fabric soft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MoBe Unshrinkable "Heather" color series is different
Just discovered the Carefree Unshrinkable Tees this year and bought two (aquamarine and chalk blue) which I love. Just this month (Aug 2016) I ordered the Red Heather and it was cut differently than the others and the material was slightly thinner; because of the odd sleeve area cut I had to return it.
I also noticed that while LLBean reps told me the style is one of their "year round" styles, there was almost no inventory in my size, Large. Too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mtnstuff Where are the color options
I have worn the unshrinkable tee for many years. I usually buy several each year. They last for a very long time if you take care of them. This years colors are, well, sort of ugly. I know that some like the dark and moody colors, but for tees that I wear year around I am missing the softer blues, pinks and greens. I would especially like to see it come back in a tea rose pink which has not been available for many years. I really appreciate the relaxed fit of this tee, especially on a hot summer day. Please bring in some more colors for us who like the lighter side.

I have many of these shirts that are over 5 years old and decided to add a few new colors this year. Unfortunately I was saddened when the shirts arrived. The knit fabric is not as good of quality in the past. I hope that LLBean will improve upon that in next year's batch, and YES, please bring back some nice summery colors. I really need to replace my cardinal red shirt and the mineral red wasn't a good substitute.
I've kept the shirts I ordered, but I don't expect them to hold up as well as the shirts I've purchased in previous years.

Like this shirt a lot and buy several every summer. This season's colors are so drab. Where's the summer colors....yellow, mint green, peach. Hope you have better colors next summer.

I've been buying the teeshirts for several years and the S has always fit me well. In the past several months I've ordered 3 of these shirts and only one of them was a size small. The other 2 were at least 3 inches bigger across the chest area and way too big. There seems to be a problem with proper sizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1Kate Please reconsider the V-neck
So, so, so sad that there are no v-necks! I have a closet full of the carefree unshrinkable V-necks and every season looked forward to new colors. BUT FOR SOME REASON, BEAN HAS ALWAYS TREATED THIS SHIRT AS THE UGLY STEP SISTER OF BEAN TEES. Often times it was not included in the catalog, wasn't available in the stores, and the online color selection was limited. Not sure why it was never really marketed or at least given a fighting chance. In my experience, all the other Bean tees are too short to begin with and then shrink to the point that they have to be returned or tossed in the rag bag. THE CAREFREE UNSHRINKABLE V-NECK HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE BEST IN TERMS OF FIT, LENGTH AND DURABILITY. Please, Bean, reconsider the decision to discontinue it.

Over the past several years I have purchased approximately $1000.00 of assorted styles 254788, 254790,254789 Pima t-shirts and I am sad to say, in the beginning they were wonderful, but as time went on they changed either the fit, material quality and manufacturer and they went down hill quickly. I recently returned about 30 of the shirts because once you wear them for the first time the collars start to pucker and wrinkle. They were so bad than most of them went in the rag bag. Now I have a very expensive rag for cleaning, waxing cars, etc. I am so disappointed in LLBean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wrenbird Nice length
I have several t-shirts from LL Bean, the carefree, unshrinkable being my favorite for everyday wear. I do not like blingy, or revealing clothing, so this shirt is great. I am 5'6", and busty. I find the length of these shirts to be just right. I cannot wear the pima shirts, they are too short. I also find the length of the Bean T's to be on the shorter side. I ordered these shirts in a 1XL, because I like my clothing to fit loosely. According to the size chart, I would need a large. I find the 1XL to be just the right amount of relaxed fit, without being too huge. After washing, I did not notice much shrinkage, and if hung up right out of the dryer, minimal wrinkling. I am bummed they were out of the washed teal so early. I do like the more feminine look of the Bean T, but like the fit of this T better. The sleeves could be just a bit longer, if I could have everything I wanted.

These Ts are great (as attested to by many reviews here) - I don't understand why LL Bean is not carrying them. Can the company give an explanation for disappointing so many customers? I was so looking forward to ordering more than several again this year.
