Rated 4 out of 5áby BeckyET Really love the t-shirt wish it was longer
I love everything about this t-shirt except the length. I am long waisted and after a 1 wash even if I don't dry it for some reason it is too short. The men's version which my husband purchases constantly has a 'tall' length wish they would do the same for the women especially in the plus sizes. PLEASE LL BEAN!!!!! These are my favorite thing to wear!!!!

Love these tee's. Bought the pima Cotton tee's and I don't like them as much. Please don't ever discontinue these Tee's. Would like to see more colors. i.e. real red, purple, off white, tan, especially in the plus sizes.

It seems that finding a good, basic t-shirt for summer is hard these days. A lot of the other t-shirts I've bought from L.L. Bean are OK, but they feel like the fabric doesn't "breathe" that well and they feel hot in the summer despite being labeled as 100% cotton. The fabric on these shirts feels like the old cotton t-shirts that I'm used to. Also, it's thick enough so that it's not see-through like some t-shirts. The fit is good- it's loose enough so it doesn't stick to the bulges and long enough to compensate for the fact that so many pants and shorts are low rise. I will definitely buy more of these in the future if they don't change.

Rated 2 out of 5áby robust stain resistance
I purchased 2 of these t shirts last summer, didn't wear them much until this year. Now I have found they stain just like any other t shirt. Otherwise, a nice shirt but not really stain resistant.

I was disappointed to find that this formerly classic T-shirt has been "updated": skimpy sleeves, lowered neckline, longer length, and side-seam shaping. Please bring back the classic boxy, well-made shirt that many of your long-time customers love.

I love these shirts. The problem I have is why on earth did you switch the colors. The older colors were perfect the old red and navy were my favorites. The red you have now is way too orange.
Please please reconsider putting more muted colors in the selection.

I washed it and it didn't shrink. The color, lemon, is beautiful. The size is correct from the size chart. Great shirt.

Rated 3 out of 5áby SweaterGal007 Nice t-shirt but color is different from photo
I needed new t-shirts and thought I would buy a quality one. I purchased the large in Coral (I'm a size 10 with C cup bust for reference#. It was a nice tshirt and fit nicely with extra room #if you want something fitted this is not the shirt for you). But my problem was the color. I bought coral but it looks really orange in person. So I am returning it.

Shame on me for not paying attention to all those who said the armholes were too large!! For the average person they are HUGE.
And for me the shirt was much too long.I will return and try another style The fabric is so soft and silky feeling. I love Bean's tees.

Rated 3 out of 5áby pecan Not as "breatheable" as Bean's Cotton Tees
I preface this review by saying that I am a baker and bought these shirts, along with Bean's Tees, as my work shirts a little over a year ago. As advertised, the Carefree Unshrinkable T-shirts keep their length (as opposed to the Bean's Tees which shrink in length so that after a few months of washings, they no longer stay "tucked in"). I had 2 issues with the Unshrinkable T-shirts. The main one was that they did not "breathe" as well as a regular all cotton T-shirt. This may not be an issue for everyone, but in a warm bakery, I would sweat in the Unshrinkable shirt but not in the regular Tee. I got the same size in both types of shirts, and the Unshrinkable one fit closer to the body while the Bean's Tee was cut looser. The Unshrinkable Tee was not too snug though, and felt & looked good, but it made me feel warm & sticky. The other issue I had was that it did stain and did not look great after a few weeks of wear. Again I preface this by saying that I got all the shirts in white, and they were worn as work shirts in a bakery. Maybe other colors would not show general dirt as much. After a few weeks, the Unshrinkable shirt no longer looked very clean after washing, so I bleached it (The "care" instructions do say "no bleach"). This turned the shirts gray. The regular Bean's Tees stained, but I could make them white again with bleach. Bleaching is not an option for the Unshrinkable Tees. They no longer looked good enough to wear at work. And since they make me feel warm & sticky when I wear them, I won't wear them for yard work either. So I had to throw them out. Bottom line is that I prefer the Bean's Tees over the Unshrinkable ones, but I'm not happy with the amount of shrinkage on the Bean's Tees either, so I may be looking elsewhere for a new work shirt.
