Comfortable & fit well. As other reviewers have noted, the pockets are nice, and they are not light weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CleanLivingFarmboy A Better Swear Pant design
I have worn these new sweat pants a few times and find them an advantage over traditional workout pants. They are well made with good quality material. I bought them to try a front fly design. It works as an ordinary sweat pant in that it can be pulled on and off by undoing the tie string or it can be unbuttoned and unzipped. The design is natural and one wonders why it has not always been done this way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by saratoga7 Great Sweats, be careful with the sizing
I had a hard time finding sweat pants that offered different lengths, the ones at my local stores are all sized for someone 6'2" or taller. (not me) So I was glad to find that LL Bean sold them in two lengths.
The fabric of the pants is very good as is the design, the only issue I have is with the sizing. I bought Large (waist 36-38) as my waist is 38. However, I rated the pants 4 stars because even after washing the pants fit big around the waist and I have to cinch the drawstrings tight to keep them up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ibupnorth01 Great sweat bottom
Purchased these for something that would keep me warm on the cool spring days while getting back in shape after a hip replacement. The soft interior and relaxed fit made walking again easy on the incision and bruising as well as felt great just lounging.
These are really well made and use a pretty thick material. I usually wear a 32" inseam but I didn't want the sweats riding on my shoes like pants do so I went with the regular, 30", length. Could have used one more inch but for exercise shorter works for me.

These athletic sweats are the best! the zippered fly, side legs and draw strings are great! Thank you for another winner in the LL bean history.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ottomatic Nice quality pants with a couple of quirks
First, I have to say that I am somewhat large in the middle, so I always have a hard time finding things that fit correctly. These pants are great and offer everything that you might want (and not even expect) in a pair of pants, e.g. front button and ZIPPER, strong drawstring, 2 side pockets and a back pocket. (Nice!!).
The pants were long on me,which I expected, but the elastic ankles are just a bit too wide and don't really grab onto my ankles that snug so they still flop over my shoes a bit. (which is why I specifically wanted elastic ankles). Oh well... overall a quality product. Fabric is soft, heavy, and warm.

All the men in my family are very tall and very slim. Why isn't there a combination of small or medium AND tall? The sweats are fantastic, but we can't use a large. I could put my husband and my son in one pair--one in each leg. Hello, L.L. Bean buyers, how about something for the tall and thin???

Rated 5 out of 5 by NDV2016 Comfortable & Perfect Fit
I bought one pair about six weeks ago and immediately liked it very much. They are comfortable and the fit is great. So I bought two more pants recently.
I like the design with front fly and the leg zippers.
I like the colors, grey and blue, however, LLBean should offer more colors for the product.

My husband said he'd like to have sweatpants - BUT they had to have a fly & pockets. Sounds easy? I looked all over with no luck, but LL Bean came through. The pants are a nice weight, fit true to size, and feel great (says my husband). The plus Is the zippers at the ankles, which make it easy to get the pants on & off without taking off one's shoes.
The cons: The pants are a tad long for a 5'7" man. And they don't come in black.
...But we're happy!
