Most comfortable chair that I've owned in 52 years of camping. Folds flat so it takes up little room in my Jeep, where I store it and I don't have to remove it when I carry other cargo. Carrying case with back straps is nice addition over previous model.

I bought this chair because it folded small and was comfortable. I used it twice before one of the plastic joints on the back rest split open and broke in half. On closer inspection , another plastic joint was cracked and ready to break. The chair is rated for 260lbs. I weigh 170. LL Bean cheerfully refunded my money.

Love the portability of this chair, compact size and comfort...can go anywhere. On the boat, to a game, impromptu picnic...anywhere...easy to carry in the car and ready when you need it.

Simply, a great chair. We bought two of these for camping. Our old chairs took up a lot of room but these fold down to a very small space leaving more room for more coolers. I thought we would sacrifice some comfort but these chairs are so comfortable. I recommend this to anyone.

I loved the way this chair folds and unfolds, but for my body (5 ft 3") it was not comfortable. I need a back with more support and the back and seat were too far apart--to get my back where it needed to be, my bottom was in the air between seat and back. I returned the chair.

I ordered 2. The blue came with a backpack the green did not. (think of odering the blue if you want the carrying bag).
The other strange thing is the dimension description on the card that is attached to the blue. it show 1/2 and inch less in thickness but they seemed to be similar to the eye.
The Blue chair and the green chair did not have the same amount of textile on some part of the chair, thus, I really thing that my green chair was from a previous version. I could easily tell that the blue had a newer tag as it contained a the new code bar you can scan with your phones.
It would have been nice if someone would have gave me a quick call to let me know that I was going to receive 2 different version (since I was ordering 2, it was obvious I would notice).
Aside from this, I only had the opportunity to open them once and it went well. 2 small details: There is too long of velcro when the chair is closed.... part of the extra velcro is left out on the open and will eventually get dirty with some particules. The other thing is not a problem but simply a weird impression as when you pull on the chair legs, you kind of expect to fell when you get to the end.... (you almost expect a a click..but it never came).. I guess it is as designed as both chair worked the same way. I weight a bit over 200 pounds and felt secure sitting on them. The first impression, is that you will fall behind.. but of course this feeling leaves quickly and you smile, realizing that you made a great purchase.
Enjoy, don't hesitate.. order them.
P.S. Did i say it gets really small when folded (smaller than a large pizza.. at least, smaller than the large Pizza we get in Quebec city :-) ) I also smilled when I got them out of their box (they are small)
Last point is that even though the shipping is free.. there are some duty and taxes... for a total of about 40% of the price of the chair in my case.

Our favorite thing to do is sit on our dock and watch the river flow by! What better way than in this chair...it is easy to use, easy to carry, easy to pack in the car. We take them whenever we go on an "adventure". We have 2 that we bought 2 years ago that are similar but bigger and have found that these are just the perfect size. We are very happy and very excited to have new chairs for us and the older ones for any visitor that might join us on the river front. You will love them and take them wherever your adventures take you.

Shortly after the initial uses, the stitching on the seat to frame began to unravel. We stitched it back using much stronger thread and it has held up for over a year. Don't believe it was a weight issue.
We use this chair over others because of it's compact size and comfort.

Clever ... it replaces the older "carry-in-a-bag" version with style and ease. Worth every single cent! I love it and the fact that it will last a very, very long time and has made my long days at the field actually enjoyable.
