I was so disappointed that the chair is so HEAVY, and it has to be returned. I must have missed in the description where the weight was given, and had expected lightweight, as in a beach chair. I am looking for something to take to Grandchildren soccer games, knowing that the walk is fairly long before reaching their specific field.
It was of sturdy construction, but that does not fill my need.

I bought this to replace a flimsy folding chair to keep in the car for soccer games. I like that this folds flat instead of more like a cylinder. The carrying case can be carried to the field like a backpack which leaves your hands free for all the other stuff you need for a day outdoors. It is on the heavy side, but so am I, so we are a match made in heaven!

The stitching on the seat of the chair came apart after about 5 days of use. Had to return.

i bought this chair because we have another similar one we got at llbean some years back and this seemed as close in style to the one we have (that is no longer made). however, this one feels flimsy when you sit in it so it went back (the other one we have is very sturdy). i think if you were gentle with it, it would be fine but after our sturdy original, this just didn't cut it.

Somehow my original chair like this got left at the beach, so I immediately ordered another one. This is a sturdy chair that folds into a rectangle. It is a bit heavy, but that's because it's so strong. The newer model comes with something like a mailbag that fits the folded chair exactly, and has straps so it can be carried like a backpack, or as a briefcase using the chair's handle. I 'tried on' several chairs, and I liked the original best. So I thought I'd get the same thing. Well, not quite. The back is no longer upright, but tilts back about 10 degrees, which I find not as comfortable, and is why I give it only 4 stars.

Compact, nice self storing bag.
A little shy on lower back support, but comfy in camp, not as comfy as some larger bag chairs but this one packs up quite small.
A little heavy but that comes from the stronger legs and hinges.
It fits on my rear cycle rack better than a bag chair.

I was somewhat skeptical after reading some of the other reviews, but I love this chair. It opens up and folds down easily and is not that heavy. The backpack carrying case is handy, but it's not as if I am going on a hike before I set the chair up. I have used it a half dozen times without any failures of the velcro. Very comfortable with handy pockets for drinks, cell phone, etc. Storage in our Class B is somewhat limited and both chairs take up little room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tjrosey Easy set up and simple storage
We were excited too see such a sturdy chair that was super easy to set up. It was very sturdy and was a cinch to close down and place in storage case that has velcro closures. The handy cup holder and cell phone holder were a pleasant bonus. When in the case it is a flat square and features an easy carry handle. The case features adjustable straps to make it easy to carry or turn into shoulder straps to wear like a backpack. A great price for many great qualities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eagle1965 Comfortable, compact
Most comfortable chair that I've owned in 52 years of camping. Folds flat so it takes up little room in my Jeep, where I store it and I don't have to remove it when I carry other cargo. Carrying case with back straps is nice addition over previous model.

The current chair does not have a mesh seat nor is it two-toned.
