jbwNPSVolunteer Great Camping Shelter
We researched several screen rooms/tents & rain flys/floor kits prior to purchasing the LL Bean model (with rain fly/floor). I have been a LL Bean customer for 40+ yrs. We are volunteers for the National Park Service (NPS) & wanted an adjunct space to our Airstream trailer. This is it! I waited until we could test this before writing this Evaluation. Today, we are stationed @ Cape Hatteras LightStation, NC, where the winds in the light house gallery are 35 MPH & 60 MPH gusts. Winds in our nearby campsite are 30-40 MPH. The tent has sustained high winds, 5-6" of continual rain w/o leaks, & has been a great space now for 3 months. I added extra tent stakes & guy ropes w/knot fixers. I would not recommend the tent w/o purchasing the rain fly/floor. The more horizontal walls are unique & add room & deflect water. A great value!

We are SO pleased with our Woodland Screen Room. It is roomy enough to be able to use as an outdoor room for both eating and reading. It keeps the bugs at bay and is an attractive addition to our campground site. And best of all...it is easy to put up!!! Thanks Beans!!

We used this for the 1st time in Georgia. Midge season had begun. It did a good job keeping the bugs off of us. Easy set up. Only problem we had was remembering to step high enough to clear tent fabric at the door.

We just received this screen house and put it up in the backyard. So far so good! It was very easy and fast to set up. We are looking forward to using this on our summer RV trip. I will update at the end of the summer. :)

I've had this screen house for about 3-4 years now. I wrote a positive review about it when I first got it, but thought I would write another since I've been using it for quite some time. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars...it's that good! I bought it to use at dog agility trials and it has exceeded my expectations. It is roomy, we can put about 4 large crates and 2-3 chairs inside and not feel crowded. It is easy to put up. I guess a person could put it up alone...but it goes up most easily with 2 people. Takes 2 middle age female agility trainers less than 5 minutes to put up and take down. There's directions, but you really don't need them. It withstands winds and rain quite well. Good ventilation and two entry ways. I did purchase the floor and overhead cover which is extra, but I think well worth it. This screen house has provided us the shelter and shade that has made crating outdoors at trials possible. Thank you for such a great product!

I saw another camper with this screenhouse and coveted it. It was a little pricey, esp. since fly and floor are sold separately. I bought the screenhouse first and absolutely love it. You do need the fly if you don't want to get wet, as the screen continues part way up the peak. This product is light weight but seems durable and well-constructed. It's super easy up and easy to stow away. Fly and floor attach super simple and we were dry with several days of heavy florida rain (better than our Coleman tent), in fact, now that we have the floor and fly, this is our go-to tent/screen room/all-purpose shelter, when we want to head out quick and travel light. Very pleased with purchase. One little minus, should give you metal stakes, plastic just doesn't hold up. Easy fix though, just went to hardware store and got long nail/stakes.

Just used this for the first time about a month ago; only used it once so far. I put it up by myself over a campsite picnic table. I'm 5'3 female. No problem at all putting it up. Looks like it will be great for camping. We mostly got it for use as a rain shelter over a picnic table.

Purchased with the optional fly/floor this is a very versatile Screen House. We have used it with and without the fly. The fly does provide total protection from the rain. It can also be used for privacy in campgrounds with crowded sites. It sets up very easily, so easily my Wife set it up by herself, which is unbelievable if you knew her. Of course the quality is there also (It's LL Bean). When we are camping people always stop by to admire it. I wish I could get commision on every one I have sold. Of course, I highly recommend it.

We bought this screen house along with the accompanying storm fly & floor in the spring & camped for a month in the southern US. & several more times during this summer in Canada. We had some severe storms. This screen house withstood whatever came it's way. It also makes an excellent shelter for bug free evenings & shade during the day. We have tried many others & this is the best by far. Sturdy & well put together. The only problem we had was the bottom of the doorway has a high lip & everyone trips over it. It would be safer if it were lowered. Great value for money spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyCamperCT Best screenhouse EVER!
We've had this screenhouse for a couple years and it's been excellent. Holds up well to wind, rain (with the fly), and red squirrels that try to go through the screen. Plenty of room for all our equipment. With the floor and fly we almost considered buying a second as our tent! The only drawback is that the fly fits very tight at the tops of the zippers and can be hard to close. Just wish it came with awning poles.
