This dress is absolutely perfect. It fits beautifully, fabric is of the greatest quality keeping its shape and color after many washes. Plus, it's cute.

This would be a good quality everyday dress for spring or summer. However, the racerback is a big problem. A more complete description of the dress or a photo of the back would have been incredibly helpful. This is the second time that I have been surprised by somewhat racy styling for little girls at LL Bean. I may have to return it -- my daughter (just turned 5) loved the pattern and styling (as viewed from the front) but I don't want her to be seen wearing such at thing and I also worry about sun exposure. Otherwise, the size chart was right. I had to order size 6-7 because she was at the edge of size 4-5. It's a little big in terms of width, but a little big is better than too small.

I was STUNNED when I took the dress out of the package and there was practically no material on the upper back part of the dress- I guess you could say it has a T back. I was NOT happy about that because now I will have to slather suntan lotion all over her back in order for her to wear it out on a really sunny day. I felt like the description for this item was lacking and they should have taken a picture of the dress from the back. Had I known it was a T-back I would not have ordered it. My child hasn't even turned 2 1/2 yet and she is very skinny so I ordered a size 4 and it fit her very well in the body and length- the arm holes are a bit big due to the T-back- but not enough for her not to wear it. Material is a bit stiffer than I thought it would be. I am keeping it because it does fit and because I got it on sale- but had I paid full price I would have sent it back. It would have only taken a moment for LL BEAN to have taken a picture of the back of this dress and I think it would have made a big difference for the buyers of this item.

We liked this dress, but it was a bit snug on my daughter. She is not a skinny minny, but not overweight either. the dress was very streamlined, not flowy.

This dress is super soft and true to size. I have washed it a few times and it has held its shape and still stayed soft. My daughter loves it!

I ordered this in a size 8 for my granddaughter's birthday. It was obvious when it came that it wasn't going to fit. Style is way too "fitted" for little girls. Your gathered knit dresses are much nicer. I sent this back.

Nice cut, my daughter loves the T back. We have had similar LLB dresses in the past and she has worn them for years, they are very durable, patterns do not even fade.

I buy a few of these every spring for my granddaughter. She lives in them all summer long and the prints stay bright wash after wash. She's tall for her just-turned-5 age but the size 5-6 are perfect.
This will continue to be a summer staple.
Don't stop offering them, LLB!
