Trillium red is a DOG OF A COLOR. Just send it back. Looks nothing like the picture online. What's the deal with these wonky new colors. Go back to Mountain Red which was a really great staple for years. Looks good with everything.I try to buy a couple of these every year and I've got a collection of about 20 of them but it's becoming increasingly difficult to find good colors..RECENTLY the colors stylist is off big-time. Also there's so few colors to choose from at the moment. Give us Real Reds, nice pastel colors like pale yellow, pale blue and pale pink. Now and then you get a really good color right like a green and purple from last year which are terrific. But then they are quickly withdrawn and replaced by something not so great. Some colored should be always in the line as staples. These are collectibles and I'd buy more if the colorists would get its act together

Rated 5 out of 5 by TominLA Great Shirt!
This has become my standard daily shirt since I retired. The quality is excellent and I can tell that they are built to last. I especially like that they are available in tall sizes, and that they have a pocket. I need someplace to put a pen and my reading glasses. I will probably buy a few with long sleeves for the Winter months.
A couple of suggestions for LL Bean, if anyone is listening:
1) Offer more bright colors, please! I don't wear black, navy, loden or red because those colors look terrible on me. I managed to find teal, light blue, aqua, yellow and turquoise, but I'd like to find salmon, light green, heather or even pink. Some stripe combos would be nice too. Gotta have pockets though!
2) Same goes for the Pima Polos. More different Spring colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ups8Phil Great Shirts, ugly color
The shirt itself is great. I own about a dozen of them and use them for work.
The Trillium Red looks washed out and not in a good way. I returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanDave Great shirts, seem to run large though
I ordered several colors this year and they are excellent shirts but significantly larger than the ones I bought a few years ago. I always wear a size Large in LL Bean shirts, but I had to return these for mediums, which fit perfectly. I compared them to the large size ones I had in my closet and they are about the same so I think they must have changed the sizing on these. But once I got the right size, which was easy to exchange for, I was very happy with them.

Compared to last year's item, current version features SKIMPY FABRIC AND SIZING. Have returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CaptLex Sturdy Fabric, Comfortable Fit
Warm weather is here and I noticed my polo collection is looking kind of raggedy this year, so I treated myself to a bunch of new ones in all my favorite colors. These shirts are well made and hold up to constant wash and wear, but they're reasonably priced and so comfortable that I don't rush to take them off when I get home (like some other shirts). Also, they're useful as casual wear but I can also dress them up a bit with the right pants, jacket and shoes.

Been buying these for the past several years and am very satisfied with the quality and durability of the material. The colors hold up well though I have quite a few so don't over-use or over-wash.
Also very pleased with Bean's performance in getting them delivered in timely fashion with no S & H charges.

I love these polo shirts. Whether I get the ones with the pocket or without, always great shirts. I usually buy 5-6 and wear them till they are either too faded or I wear a whole in them.
My biggest issues with them, is that they fade after a few months of washing per the instructions. My other issue is that you can buy two of the same shirts, and they fit slightly different. I have a black shirt that is long, and a navy blue shirt that is slightly smaller. The first polo shirts I purchases from LL bean 5 years ago seem to be made a little differently, as the cut and fit were always uniform.
