I am a knifenut. I'm also NOT a fan of stainless steel. That said, this knife is surprisingly sharp - and useful.
Mine was a gift from a life-long friend and at first I expected it to land in my "knife box". I like to give every knife an opportunity though, and when I went to the shop and put it to a length of one inch manila rope I discovered the genius of forward serrations. THIS is the proper location for those ugly steel teeth! (Personally, I never buy serrated blades...) Every other tool in this folder works as advertised. Overall fit and finish is excellent as one would expect from this ancient company.
Would I recommend? Yes.

Awesome swiss Knife, I love the locking blade. I gave this as a Christmas gift and it was a hit.

I was looking for a multi tool knife with a blade that locks. Leathermens are nice but pricey. Having experience with Swiss Army knives, this one made sense. Not disappointed! This one will work perfectly for what I need. High quality and I do recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OrangBodoh A good knife
Ever since almost cutting off the tip of my finger with a traditional, non-locking folding knife when I was a Cub Scout, I have always bought knives that lock. I am pleased with the locking mechanism and overall quality of this knife, and like that it does not have too many gadgets on it. It's big enough to do the sorts of work that I expect to do, such as cutting tomatoes without being too big to keep with me all the time while outdoors.

Love the weight and the locking features. A nice sharp knife you can open with one hand. It's just strange though that the package describes it as serrated. It's not serrated.

Minus's---A little too big for the pocket.
A file attachment would have been nice.
Is also hard to open with one hand.
Plus's---Very good steel, knife retains a good sharp edge and is fairly easy to resharpen.
Attachments are very sturdy.

Great tool! The knife blade locks, which is a personal plus. What's interesting is that on many folding lock-blade knives, the lock mechanism must be pressed to the left to fold the blade...for this knife, the mechanism must be pressed to the right; thus, this tool is 'lefty-friendly.'

Rated 5 out of 5 by HighDesert Has its place ...
A very good alternative for those times when one wants something more robust than the traditional Swiss army knife, but more versatile and less conspicuous than a larger sheath knife. Can really one hand the main blade and it does easily lock into place. The saw is much more usable than the smaller one found on the traditional knife. Arguably a viable tool even when going ultralight.

by RittyRiot Would have given it 5 stars....but....
This is a good knife/tool. It is a little larger than I thought it would be. (About 4.5 inches closed) The main blade is a little difficult to open with one hand. Once I use it more, it may loosen up a bit. I like the fact that the main blade and large screwdriver lock open. It seems to be made well, with quality materials. The description on the website and on the package itself says that it has a serrated main blade. Mine came with a regular blade. That is okay with me because there is a saw on this unit!
