Rated 5 out of 5 by SedonaHiker Nice Shirt with a Few Surprises
I just received the dark loden color of this shirt and was immediately pleased. The flannel material feels a bit heavier than most I've owned and will come in handy during cool Fall and Winter nights. Also, on closer inspection I discovered a herringbone pattern woven into the flannel material - a nice touch. I've already worn it once and it is very comfortable and soft on the skin. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kemo1 Wicked Good Flannel Shirt !!!!!
Absolutely awesome feel and comfort in this shirt. Ordered another one immediately ...just received that one. I have purchased LL Bean Flannel shirts in the past and would wear no other......didn't feel the need to purchase the " Wicked Good--as the price was higher. My wife bought this LL Bean Wicked Good Flannel shirt for my birthday. Oh I'll still enjoy my other LL.Bean Flannel shirts-they're good shirts----but I'll favor these Wicked Good Flannels. They feel really good and must say they look good with that special weave. from now on...this is the one I'll buy ! My son's Christmas Present--YES !! ...He's going to like this !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BackwoodsBozo Worth the few extra bucks
I'm a big fan of both the LL Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel shirts and consider them reasonably priced for the quality.
But for just a few bucks more these Wicked Good shirts take flannel fans to a whole new level.
Not only are they well made with the button down collar style I prefer but the fabric quality is superb. The thread count seems much higher than the Scotch Plaid, which makes them more of a luxury sans undershirt in all but the coldest conditions.
My favorite feature is the subtle herringbone texture all the Wicked Good flannels have. It's distinctive and adds a bit of extra character to the look.
I've purchased a few "premium" flannel shirts at twice the price from high end sources but despite their impressive brand labels they are, in my opinion, no better than, and often inferior to, these Wicked Good shirts.
Wicked Good flannel comes out perfect and ready to wear after washing in a Woolite to keep the fabric soft and then hung to air dry on a suit hanger.
I have four or five Wicked Good Flannel shirts. Those I purchased more than two years ago still look and feel virtually brand new so there's no need to replace them. But luckily LL Bean keeps tempting me with new patterns and colors so I get at least one new color every fall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KateSamsValley Blue color not as represented.
I expected a shirt the colour in the photo..
It is not.
However, it is a well made, heavy flannel shirt, but I am still disappointed in the colour, which I find odd as every other item I have ordered except for some red sandals, according to the photo, turned out to be orange.
Just an anomaly I guess.
Still, giving it 4 stars as it is very well made and the fabric is quite nice.
My husband will get good use from it! Thank you~

Rated 3 out of 5 by Onewhohatestoshop Bean's Wrinkle Free Trend Continues
I have been a customer of Bean for decades.
Over the past few years, it seems that a lot of Bean's cotton products have had their fabric manipulated to be wrinkle free. I'm not a fan of wrinkle free due to the perhaps unintended consequence of having the fabric not feel like cotton fabric of yore that got softer as it aged (see Bean khakis--an item I used to buy from Bean, but no longer.).
Perhaps my bad for not closely reading the description of the "Wicked Good Flannel Shirt"; "revolutionary flannel" should have tipped me off, let alone "Feels as soft, warm and comfortable as our traditional flannel shirts". IMO, the latter is not accurate! To me, the fabric almost has a wool feel to it. The creases on the arms appear to be permanent (after several washes). While the shirts I bought are well made, they don't resemble the flannel I am familiar with. These shirts have a more formal look to them and they are rather stiff. If that's what you're looking for, these are great shirts, but for those looking for SOFT & COMFORTABLE flannel shirts that improve with age, I suggest another incarnation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ab8137 Awesome in every way (except one)
I now have 4 LLBean Wicked good flannels, and they are awesome, as are the others. These, however, come out of the dryer ready to wear -- no ironing needed. They are comfortable, good looking, and hold up well over time. I do have one suggestion for LLBean, and that is to eliminate the "Traditional Fit" label sewn into the inside of the collar. It is scratchy, and I always remove them, but they are stitched very tightly and are hard to remove without damaging the shirt material. Since the regular label has the Item #, I don't see the need for the additional label inside the collar. Otherwise, you will be very happy with this flannel shirt. Typical outstanding LLBean quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanBobber Best Flannel
The wicked line of flannels are LLBean's best. These are well made and extremely comfortable. I am 6' 200lbs and have 34/35 sleeve length and order XL. These shirts are true to size. I never have a problem with tightness or shortness with the sleeves as I do with other flannels, including others from LL Bean. In fact these are the only flannels I wear and each year I add to my collection. They wear/wash well and last for years. Shirts from 3 years ago look just as good as my new shirts. Stay warm my friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by d4873 ADD FITS LARGER THAN BEAN Traditional
Nice shirt, soft, great quality- 4 inches larger in the waist than other shirts in traditional fit category, Lots of time wasted when it seems that many, but not all of the shirts we ordered last year stepped up one size and not reflexed in the size chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by Edeltraud First Impression is Quality Flannel Material
I now have three of these shirts bought over the last couple of years. I am 6' & 160lbs with 19" shoulders & 34" waist. I normally wear a 16x34 or large shirt. My first one of these shirts was a large and the sleeve covered most of my hand. I exchanged it for a medium and it was a perfect fit. Some folks here feel these shirts are baggy around the waist, I actually consider them to be a fairly trim comfortable cut.
Most of my other brand flannel shirts pile by the second year, these do not! Just purchased another one this month!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HILLBILLIE Flannel shirt with classy weaving
These shirts are warm and well fitting. Being available without plaids makes them quite Classy with jeans or khakis. The herringbone weave adds to the business casual look. I enjoy the Bright Navy, Russett and an older tan.
