Rated 5 out of 5 by Timber2003 Excellent product
I've had a pair of the od green pants for several years. I bought them for warm weather hunting. I now find myself wearing for hunting, fishing, and hiking. They do some piling from wear and tear but that does not bother me. Very rugged, breathable, quick drying, moisture wicking material. I will be ordering several more pair just in case ll bean stops making them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TLK1 Ideal outdoor active pants.
Very comfortable, weatherproof and quite. These have taken me on deer trails through the woods, through briars and branches and have been unscathed.

After reading the reviews regarding sizing, I ordered a pair one size larger in the waist than I normally wear. Pants are still too tight. I will have to return them. Every thing else is as advertised.

Rated 3 out of 5 by UWSer Pants Were Not What I Exected
I bought these mens pants for myself, as I often buy mens pants for better fits, better construction and length selections. While these pants looked and sounded compelling and warm, I was surprised and disappointed to find otherwise, which is unusual for LL Bean products. They are far too lightweight -- would be ok for fall or spring, but not winter in NYC. Furthermore, they didn't fit as expected -- too tight in the waist, too high-waisted, and the legs were super wide. So I would give them a resounding "meh," and think they're a bit overpriced. If they had been in the $30 range, I might have kept them -- but not at $53. So I returned them, which is no drama at LL Bean and return shipping is free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TMary Comfortable
Got these for my husband. Nice relaxed fit; fabric very soft and non-binding; wash and dry nicely. He really likes the inside gripper waistband that keeps the pants up even without a belt. Did have to cut off a couple of inches because the smallest inseam is 29". Also, the cargo pocket flap buttons are VERY hard to open, especially with one hand, so I cut off the buttons that came with it and sewed on smaller buttons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hoosierboy washes well
I bought these a size bigger since it's been suggested and found them to be more true in size than small. They wash well and are soft and comfortable although I haven't worn them yet.I suppose it will fit with my suspenders and I got the shirt to match too.I didn't bring them out trucking with me since it's winter and I'll be using my lined pants instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RJK1 Nice outdoor pants
I bought these for cold-weather outdoor wear. I wear a 37" waist and the 38" fit good with room for long underwear. These are very soft, roomy and dry fairly fast. These are my go-to pants for shoveling snow, hiking and hunting in winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TallNorthernHunter Good alternative to wearing blue jeans
Waist sizing ran small. I need a 43 so I ordered 44 but had to reorder the 46. I would have preferred a bit thicker fabric for an out doors pants. Hope they are a good alternative to wearing 100% cotton blue jeans as these are 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Too early to know about durability. Nice to have 33" inseam available for us tall guys. Would have preferred 34", but I'll take what I can get. Not many suppliers of out doors clothes understand that there are tall people as they must be 5'4" and 125 lbs soaking wet! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Smithhammer Great field pants!
These are my hiking/bird hunting/field pant of choice. I know some have recommended ordering one size up, but I normally wear a 34w and the 34's fit me just fine. Please don't ever stop making these pants!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Westslope Good Looking Pants, Size Ran Small
The solid green colored pants are good looking. I plan on wearing them in town and in the field. Material also feels good. I ordered a 38 in waist wanting a looser fit for field wear and even ordered suspenders because I expected them to be loose. They fit like 36s but decided to keep them anyway.
