Rated 2 out of 5 by jhark37 Looked awful
Hat was well constructed, fit fine, and would probably be waterproof as advertised. However, both the crown and brim were permanently wrinkled to the point it just looked awful. Could not reshape, it just stuck out at whatever angle it wanted. Very disappointing.

Looks like its a quality hat and it fits well. A bit pricey for what it is though. Could have a strap and/or snaps on the top sides to roll up the sides when its not raining.

Bought this to wear hiking during the hunting season. Looks great, fits well, and I have not been shot. The hat draws raves from my hiking companions.

It is light and fits well. I wear a 71/2 hat. Bought x l size. It needs a chin strap to receive 5 stars.

Just returned from a four day grouse trip. It rained three of the four days. Severely at times. I usually wear a ball cap. However when it rains I wear the wide brimmed hat. Keeps the rain from rolling down the back of your neck. Great foul weather hat.

absolutely no issue with this hat.
folds up, keeps water off, comfortable.
in fact, my wife took possession of it
during our recent elk hunt. she enjoys it, too.
it's not a fedora, or stetson, but does what a
hunter wants in the outdoors.

Looking for a hat to go hunting in and found this. Will suit my purpose admirably.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nearly Great with major downside
Wonderful hat. Great sun protection, seriously waterproof, floppy, funky (especially the orange one), and the XL fits a 7 5/8 head perfectly--not too tight, but stays put in strong winds. (Men's Small is too small for my 9 year old granddaughter, which is bizarre because it cannot fit an adult's head). But, if you work up a sweat, the sweat band stays wet, cold, and clammy for around fifteen hours. And it's not great fun to put it back on until it's dry. Seems an extremely dumb error in design & construction, which is a shame, because otherwise the hat is a gem--but to me it's a big otherwise.
