Rated 5 out of 5 by Campinggrandmother Comfortable vest
This hunting vest is roomy, comfortable, and has large pockets. My husband and I now have matching vests for our hiking trips. Would definitely buy this product for others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JrodnMS Great product at a value price
Note: I haven't actually used this vest (it is a Christmas gift for my father), but I did pull it out and thoroughly examine it when it arrived.
There are certainly better small-game vests out there, made with higher quality materials and with more features. BUT, I gave this item 5 stars because of the quality relative to the cost. The material is plenty heavy and looks like it should stand up well against the tests of time and abuse by trees and thorns. All the stitching is clean and straight. The game pocket is a good size (and lined) as are the ammo pockets on the front. The pockets have shell loops which is nice, though it would also be nice to have a few more (there is room). Overall, compared to the other vests I looked at in this price range (< $50), this one seems to be the best value by far. I suppose time will tell as far as longevity, but I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Vest is well made and a good buy for the money. I bought it as an extra vest but have used it as my primary since I got it. My only change would be to add more shell loops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KnoxPotter Great Vest!
You can't go wrong with this vest... well made and great material. And the game pouch in the back is well designed! And there is a nice L.L. Bean logo subtly stitched on the back... For the $$ this would be hard to beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaineFamilyMan Great upland vest for the money.
This vest is well priced for the quality construction and function it provides. I have used this vest and placed birds in the back pocket. It held them well, was comfortable to wear and was easy to clean with the back pocket able to unzip. I would recomend this vest for the money, however, I have my eye on the waxed canvas vest for 'someday'. Based on the qualty of this vest I'm sure that would be a good quality investment as so many of LL Bean products are!

Rated 5 out of 5 by jruss2 Blaze orange bird hunting vest
The vest is as advertised- excellent quality and very durable.
The pockets are large with internal elastic loops for holding shot shells. The game pouch will hold many birds and has easy entery from left or right side by unzipping heavy duty zippers.
Inside the right and left front of the vest has pockets for keeping personal items. The vest is made of a heavy rip stop type fabric that has been waxed which will shed water and make cleaning easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trogans This vest is a true fit and is very comfortable.
I'm very satisfied with this hunting vest. It has right amount of blaze orange on front and back of vest. I really like the way the game bag is set up. Accessory pocket is also a plus. This vest is a bargain and matches their technical upland shirt perfectly. I would highly recommend this vest to any hunter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SportingShooter Perfect functionality
I bought the vest for quail hunting in North Georgia. The day I wore it was exceptionally cold (for Georgia) and although I had multiple layers under it, it was still quite comfortable. The two front pockets held 25 shotshells each with enough, but not too much, room to spare. The inner pocket was handy. The access to the storage area (from front and back) and its capacity were just right. If the vest had more pockets it would be too many and too bulky. If it had fewer, it would be too few to be fully functional.
