Rated 4 out of 5 by Sunny14 Nice Sheets Just Not As Warm as Others
These are nice sheets. They are soft but not thick. My husband and I agree that they are not as warm as other flannel sheets we have used. This is great if you get too warm with flannel, but we added a polar fleece blanket AND a down comforter to our bed. The ice blue is very pretty. It is a saturated blue, not pale at all if that is what you are looking for. I like the edging, too. The size of these sheets is generous and I have washed and dried them a few times and I did not notice too much shrinking. Still fits fine. I'm wondering if the next step down in flannel would be warmer.

I bought my first set of these sheets in 1989 and I'm still using them every winter! They have never pilled and they just keep getting softer. Over the years I have bought other brands which have only lasted 2 or 3 seasons before they started to pill and become rough. I just bought another LL Bean set which I expect to use for at least the next quarter century! Yes, they are expensive (all the better if you can get them on sale) but you shouldn't have to replace them for a lonnnng time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DrBluefin Going on 5 Years...No Pill, Still Soft, and Warm
I purchased a full set (Premium Supima Flannel) in April 2009 as a gift to myself. This is my only bedding set (I use flannel year round) and I wash the sheets weekly. There has been no shrinking, pilling, or overall wear that I can discern. These sheets are worth every cent. Plus, if you are not happy, LL Bean has an excellent return policy.
I can't believe how well the sheets have worn for nearly 5 years of use. If you like soft, warm, long-lasting flannel sheets, buy these without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EmptyNester Premium Supima Flannel Sheet, solid color, flat
This review is for the solid color (bluegrass) flat flannel sheet. It's a very heavy weight flannel which I'll probably only use for a couple of months here in Texas. It's been washed and dried several times with little to no shrinkage. After using for several weeks, it shows no signs of pilling. Love the soft 'bluegrass' color. Very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GPeterson Super soft with no pilling
We bought our first set of these sheets about three years ago. We had been using the LL Bean Ultrasoft Flannel sheets for years and I wanted to try the new version. Wow! I couldn't believe how soft they were! There was very little shedding with the first wash. I splurged and bought a second set the next year. They just get softer and softer with subsequent washes, with no pilling. I'm not kidding! Who knew there was flannel that doesn't pill. And they are warm and cozy. Don't question the price. Splurge and enjoy them!

You spend 1/3 of your life in bed - make that time comfortable! This was my think when I decided to invest in these sheets. I will never be able to lower my standards again.
The funny thing is, I get the feeling that these will last 3 times as long as some of the other sheets I've bought for 1/2 the price.
Every time we climb in bed, my husband and I sigh and feel very fortunate to live in an era where non-royalty can experience such luxury.

When I searched for "pink flannels sheets", I saw a photo of lush, folded set of pink flannel sheets! I had bought the same (I thought) 10 years ago for the double bed# So, for the Queen sized bed, I thought I was doing the same# NO# It's NOT as pictured# Even the shipping invoice/Customer Copy says "Shts" with an S, plural# The plastic package even says "SHEETS", with an /S/= Plural, meaning more than one! Well, surprise surprise, there is ONE sheet in the package! One! And it does not fit the bed. Can't tuck it in. The quality of the fabric is NOTHING, as in no where near as nice as the pink flannel sheets that I bought 10 years ago. I don't have time to return it. I am very disappointed in LL Bean, as I have bought from LL Bean since 1985. I doubt seriously if I'll buy from LL Bean, again. One sheet for $74. that doesn't fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ShoppinginMaine Love these sheets!
Have been looking for great flannel sheets for years and had not been able to find any that I really loved until I found these. I hesitated at first due to the price but they certainly prove the old saying 'you get what you pay for'! I bought them in the pale moss color and just love them. No pilling in the wash. The size is great with plenty of length to tuck in all around the mattress. They are so soft and warm - made for a wonderful nights sleep. May have to buy another set so I don't have to go without them on laundry day!

When I unwrapped my new premium flannel sheet set, I was disappointed because the flannel wasn't anywhere near as thick and luxurious as the flannel sheets I had purchased from Bean about 20 years ago. This set is nice; I will keep it and use these sheets for years, but in no way can they compete with the wonderful sets I have purchased from Bean in previous years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MireilleB Premium Supima Flannel Sheet
Last year I bought the flat and fitted sheets in white. I am in love with these sheets. They are soft, warm, comfortable and just the right weight. I even kept them on during the Summer while the air conditioning was on. They have been washed several times and do not pile. I found them expensive but certainly don't regret buying them. I highly recommend them.
I also bought the Heritage Chamois Flannel sheets. They are also great sheets, and do not pile either. The chamois sheets are heavier weight and personally I prefer the Premium Supima sheets. Would not hesitate to buy another set.
