Rated 5 out of 5 by JLove31 Perfect in this cold weather!
Love this comforter. Warm, washed nicely, and looks great!
My only wish is that it had shams to go with it!

I've had this comforter for 3 years and have washed it numerous times and it's still great looking. I live in Texas where it rarely reaches lower than 30 degrees, so this comforter keeps us warm all through our winters. Definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jed2 Very warm and durable comforter
This comforter is very warm and durable. We ordered the comforter in flag blue and we are very pleased with our choice of colors. I doubt that you would find this color, quality, and price in a department store. We've had the comforter close to a year now and have washed it twice with no problem. We highly recommend this comforter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1994 would buy again
A few of the previous reviews mentioned concerns with noise--have had the comforter a few weeks now and can truthfully say no issues with any noise. The comforter is plenty warm enough and I keep the house cold at night. Very happy with my purchase. Thanks LLBean

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hello7 Attractive but Cool
The great thing about this comforter, and all those not made from real down is, they're much more attractive bed covers, with nice stitching patterns. On the other hand, down comforters are like big sacks that require covers that are also sack-like in spite of their patterns. Unfortunately, this comforter isn't warm enough, which is surprising given Bean's Maine location. They're well aware of how much warmth is needed in New England winters, yet they continue to sell these unwarm comforters without labeling them as 3 season. I don't like being cold and it leads to frequent waking up, so having a decently warm comforter is job 1 of a comforter. Why can't they make this as warm as a sleeping bag, which is also artificial down?

Rated 4 out of 5 by aspiring1 A great comforter--not too warm yet warm enough
Unlike other reviewers, this comforter is neither "noisy" nor slick. It stays on the bed and is the perfect weight for those of us who need a comforter that is relatively light weight compared to so many comforters. I bought this one to take the place of the LLBean Qualofil blanket that is now made with polar fleece and weighs almost ten pounds (queen size). It is a good substitute. My only regret is that unlike the blanket, it is very plain with no piping or satin edges. Until LLBean brings back the blanket version, it will take its place nicely. NOTE: I did not wash the comforter before using and it was fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by wearybrat Love the colour, don't like the comforter
I love the colours in this however, whatever the material is that it's made of it makes crinkling sounds and it's slick as glass, slides right off the bed every time I turn over. Because of the noise, my dog loves to "play" with it, jumping all over the bed to make it crinkle. It sounds like it's stuffed with paper! I'm really sorry I threw away the bag it came in because I'm really disappointed. The other comforter, plus the quilts, that I have from LL Bean are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mntgirl Great Bed Cover
This cover is the perfect weight for all seasons. The outside material is nice and soft and the filling doesn't shift around like on some covers I have had in the past (from another retailer). I have washed this once and the color did not fade, it dried quickly and the filling didn't clump.

I live in New Hampshire and know what cold nights are. I love this new comforter. It is warm enough to be comfortable, yet light enough so I don't feel weighted down. An excellent buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bretz Best comforter ever !
It's so easy to make the bed now...not wrestling with a large bulky comforter whose fluff has shifted everywhere. It's warm enough, but not too warm in the summer. All the fluff in the squares stays put! So far, I'm very happy.
