Great comforter, soft, warm. I am very happy I got it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BostontoMaine too small - skimpy
The queen size is a lot smaller than other queen sizes - I'm talking feet, not inches and smaller than most full/queen too. It's nice, but not worth paying full price. I bought it for my son's bed (age 10) and did not think it was good enough. I kept it for our guest room because I had washed it first as recommended. Perhaps the dimensions were given, but I cannot find them.

Well made, fluffed up nicely and "Bay Leaf" is the perfect color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Watchdawg Crinkly? I don't think so.
Many reviewers have complained of crinkle noise and I thought it strange. This concerned me but I figured "what the heck." I mean how noisy can a comforter be?
I really like it! The minor "crinkle" does not bother me in the least and I assume it'll be less noisy after washing/drying a few times as I think the little bit of noise be be coming from the cover and not the filling.. The way some reviewers spoke of it, I thought it would be very loud (like wrapping paper!). Perhaps they should buy a comforter with a high tread count. I like it because it's thinner than traditional comforters. The brushed fabric is pleasant to the touch.
I had bought a down filled comforter as thin as this one but feathers kept coming through the fabric--very annoying. So I think this is a winner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by RebeccaTurnaway Fantastic, No Crinkling Noises
I have been looking for a new comforter for a while, and my aunt swears by L. L. Bean. I wanted cotton, but worried about the noises people talked about in reviews, as I am a light sleeper.
Believe me when I say that whatever was going on in the past is no longer an issue. It does not sound like the comforter is "stuffed with plastic bags", as a lot of people said. The fabric on the outside makes a little noise, but it's the only "issue" I could find. (And it's not even an issue; I consider that normal for any new linen product, especially comforters.)
I do not normally write reviews, but felt this was warranted from all the reviews saying it was noisy from the past. I hope this does help shed some light from a recent buyer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JerseyMom01 Excellent Comforter!
I purchased two of these comforters and I absolutely love them! They are the perfect weight without being bulky. I can easily fit them in my washing machine and dryer, and since they are not made of down I don't have to worry about the material clumping up inside of the comforter. The colors are beautiful and the fabric is excellent quality. I wish LL Bean would make this comforter in a Twin XL size so I could order one for my son's dorm room.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MMJKA Crinkly Noise
This comforter makes a crinkly noise any time it is moved. It makes it impossible for me to sleep. I'm shocked that this has not been written in every review - you can't miss the sound as soon as you take the comforter out of the box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by joSoBe plastic crumbling sound
I wanted to replace a 100% cotton comforter. This comforter is only outer layer cotton fabric. The inside feels and sounds like there are plastic bags stuffed inside. It does not breathe. A waste of money for me...out it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by UPCDAZEY LOVE this Comforter
I now own 4 of these comforters - 3 in twin, 1 in full. They are just the right weight for year round, the colors are beautiful, they wash well and look great. Typical Beans quality.
