I was able to put the bed skirt on right out of the packaging. There were a few wrinkles in this wrinkle-resistent bed skirt, but they are hardly noticeable. Someone who's more a perfectionist would probably want to use an iron on them first. Being that there really isn't a need to wash the bed skirt regularly, it wouldn't be prone to wrinkling any more anyway.
The skirt lies nicely over the boxspring covering to just above the floor on all 3 sides. The front corners are made up of 3 panels -- the side, the foot and a piece behind where these 2 meet. That piece behind is generously sized so that the corners hang nicely with no visibility of the box spring.
The fabric that lays on the box spring is good quality so I'm not worried about that part ripping if there's any accidental tugging on the skirt. The seams, which look to be about a 1/4" are double-sewn so I trust those will remain intact too.

I am very happy with the bed skirt I purchased. I ordered a queen size as I have an white antique metal bed (double) which is very high. The queen size fits perfectly. The skirt material is of very high quality and ironed out very well. I would definitely recommend this bed skirt.

It fit my bed perfectly. The style and material makes it look simple yet elegant. I like the way the corners are done -- there's an extra piece of material behind the corner slit.

Unfortunately I had to return the bed skirt. I was hoping that what others had written about the skirt being too long would not apply to me. It was. The skirt was made beautifully & since I hate to iron this would have bee perfect for my bed had it not been so long. If you have an older bed it will not fit. I think it is intended for new higher box springs & mattresses.

The bed skirt is perfect. I put it on straight from the package instead of washing it. It's an awkward size (too big for the ironing board) so I adjusted the ironing board down and moved it around the edge of the bed to iron the bed skirt. It took only a few minutes and it looks sharp.

This is a great bedskirt if you want something a little understated to just cover the bed frame. It's a good quality with nice fabric. It has very nice, subtle details and it lays flat at the corners and fits well. I looked at others on the web that were less expensive, but decided on this one because it's 100% cotton and not fussy looking. Also, I trust LL Bean for good quality items. This bedskirt is exactly what I wanted.

The "platform" (flat part that lays on the box spring under the mattress) is a couple of inches too wide. I safety-pinned a pleat into it in order to use the bedskirt. One side still hangs down a little too far. Other than that, this is a very nice bedskirt.

Best bed skirt i ever purchased.I have had about four others 15" and all were always too short never fit top of box spring well either. This bed skirt fits perfectly on top of box spring and length is perfect! Very happy with purchase nice material, bit pricey as i am used to paying $30 to$40 but as saying goes you get what you pay for.

Even though the price of the bed skirt was a little high, the quality of the material was very nice. The problem is the measurements are off. The skirt is supposed to be a 15 inch drop, but measures 16 inches. Too long for my bed. Of course, this is going back. It's very annoying to pack it up and go to the UPS store to return it. Not to mention after pulling off my mattress and finding it way too long for the box spring. Let's get with it LL Bean! I had the same problem with your pajamas with the terrible fit. Not like they were several years ago. What's going on here???

The quality of the fabric, thickness of the fabric of this bedskirt is great. No problem there. The problem I had with it is that the drop (from the skirt seam to the bottom of the skirt) is not 15", but instead 16.5". I washed the bedskirt thinking it would shrink to 15" but it did not shrink. I can report that after washing, the skirt was not wrinkled and looked very nice. I am bummed that I had to return this bedskirt twice (I ordered it a second time thinking I had a bad batch) because the drop is too long for my twin beds. If you advertise 15, please make the drop 15 inches!
