Rated 5 out of 5áby LLBBEANER Outstanding in Every Way!
Without peer! The Apple Cinnamon pattern of this chamois shirt makes it the most attractive shirt available. The fabric is soft yet robust, the colors and hues mirror those of autumn, and it washes beautifully. Plan to buy 4 more as Christmas presents. OUTSTANDING!

Rated 4 out of 5áby Gorianth LLBean has changed size definition
For many years I received LLBean chamois shirts as gifts. I wore them constantly in cool weather and most are now worn to the point where I only use them for yard work. I love them and decided to buy some new ones. All the ones in my closet whether from LLBean or someone else are size medium. Both of the medium shirts I just received are enormous and far too large for me. Somewhere along the line LLBean changed the specifications for what they call medium. If LLBean hadn't changed what they call a medium, I would have given them a 5 star but it is annoying to have to go through the hassle of exchanging by mail.

Rated 5 out of 5áby OkieRazorback Made in Central America -- Thank you LL Bean
I love these shirts, and they fact that the last few I have bought were made in Central America just makes me love them more. This is certainly a part of the world that benefits from the business. I am very tired of everything I pick up having a made in China label on it.
These shirts look great and fit great. Just do not over dry them or they shrink a little which for me means the sleeves get a little too short. They generally look very good for 2 or 3 seasons and then the fluffy pile tends to go away. However, I feel like I get my monies worth out of them.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Pitt70 Nice Shirt Save for the Depth of the Pockets
In most respects this is a really nice shirt. The material is substantial. I fits true to size. It seems to be well constructed. I washed it twice and it seems to have kept its size, shape, and color. So why the 3 star rating? Well, it's the pockets. A previous reviewer said that LL Bean should get rid of the flaps on the pockets. In my opinion, the flaps aren't the problem-- the problem is the depth of the pockets. I normally like flaps - they keep my reading glasses, pen, and anything else I put in the pocket secure whenever I bend over, These pockets are so shallow, however, that once I put glasses or a pen in them I can't button the flap. The result is that not only doesn't the flap serve its purpose, it looks messy. Hope Bean will eventually do a redesign. If they do, I'll be back for some more.

Rated 1 out of 5áby Nick299 Great quality but need better size dimensions
Outstanding quality and love how the fabric feels, but a little disappointed in the sizing. I'm bummed that I had to return it:( I am 5'7" and normally where a size small in just about every outdoor clothing company. I even have a few Ll bean flannel button downs in small that fit fine but this shirt is just to LONG for a size small! I feel a size small would be great if you're tall and lanky... It would be great if they made an XS size?

Rated 5 out of 5áby SWMissourian Outstanding Quality - Wear like iron
Bought two of these about 5 years ago and wore them regularly in winter. Previous colors were a little limited but I was delighted to see the new colors plus plaids this year. Bought three more this year and cannot decide which I like best. The Deep Spruce Plaid is really classy - the Cream Plaid is awesome looking and the Charcoal Gray Heather is somewhat dressy. They wear like iron and the material is soft but solid. I normally wear a large and that is what I ordered since I wear them as an "overshirt", not tucked into my pants. If I were to wear them as a regular shirt, I would order down to a medium - but that is not how I wear them. Regardless, another really high quality product from LL Bean and I could not be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Don60 Very Satisfied
First the bad, the only negative thing I can say about LL Bean and this shirt is that when writing this review, at the top it says "Write a Review of the Chamois Shirt, Stripe. I clicked on Chamois Shirt, Plaid. Ok, no big deal, right? Now to the product. This is not only my first Bean purchase but my first Chamois shirt purchase from anyone. I originally had a question before I ordered and emailed their customer service department. I had an answer in under 5 minutes - amazing in today's world of poor customer service. Now, how about the product? It arrived in good condition in a prompt manner. I am impressed by everything about this shirt. The feel of the material, the pattern, the warmth and the overall quality are outstanding. I have read some reviews that say that this version of these shirts are not up to the quality level of past shirts. I cannot comment on that because this is my first one. However, what I can and will say is I love this shirt, am very satisfied and will buy more of them. In my opinion, hard to go wrong with this shirt and I highly recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5áby marietta1967 No flaps
Please get rid of the flaps!!!! on all flannel and especially the chamois shirts they wrinkle up and make it hard to put stuff in the pockets as the flaps make the pockets too small!! The flaps make for a messy looking shirt

Rated 5 out of 5áby mexguy48 Long Durable Life
I have had one of these shirts for about 30 years. I used it mostly for camping and brisk/cool CA winters. The shirt and the stitching have held up incredibly well, and gotten softer with the wearing and washing. Five years ago when we retired to Mexico my short wife "adopted" it as her shorty robe, rolling up the sleeves as necessary. I am 6┤2" and I had to get another one for myself, lol. These shirts are incredible and wonderful to wear, they are the best article of clothing that I have ever bought. I may have to leave the new one in my will given the durability of the first one.
