I have bought quite a few lined jeans and casual pants from various brands in the past. Though I'm still reserving the 5 star rating for a more trimmer alternative until I find one, I like these LL Bean jeans most as they do offer lots of comfort and very good quality without introducing an awkward workwear look like some other similar warm pants, so that they can be worn pretty much anywhere I go. My quest for the less baggy and more stylish alternative that wouldn't sacrifice quality or comfort is not over yet, but these jeans easily deserve my recommendation.

My husband got a pair of these for Christmas and has practically lived in them. It was so great to find the classic fit that is a trimmer cut. When these are in the wash, he wears an older pair of your regular fit flannel lined denims, and they look so big and baggy compared to these pants that I call them his jodhpurs. I hope you continue to have more choices in this trimmer cut style (they could actually be cut even a bit slimmer) especially with flannel lined pants which my husband wears all winter here in northern Maine.

I live north of Boston and bought these jeans a couple of months ago and wore them a couple of times and thought they were great. However, I waited untill I came back from a skiing trip in Colorado to see if I still felt the same way about them. Truth be told, even in the cold nights it the mountains where the nights hovered at zero and below, they are very warm and comfortable. A can't miss purchase!!!

Double L Classic Fit flannel jeans are not available in black. I would buy several pairs if they were available in black. I already have several pairs in blue. These jeans are super warm and I wear them every day in the cold New England winters (they are great for ice fishing).

These lined jeans are the best I've ever purchased. The lining stays in place, no sagging even after many washes. They are very warm. Great for any winter activities, especially snowshoeing. I do think the price is a bit high. I will definetly purchase again.

While the pants are made beautifully and the material is hefty, my son asked me to return them because they felt baggy around his butt. The waist was appropriate but there was a lot of material around the seat. He is very athletic so while I would recommend this pant, it's not for a man with thin legs and seat.

I bought these jeans for our son almost 10 years ago. Even with regular washing, they have held color, softness, but most importantly, held together. I was so impressed with his pair that I bought a pair for my husband who wanted a lined pair to work in the garage. He has had them on every day and loves them.

My 20 y/o son lives in Gunnison Co. He got the cords last year and this year asked for another pair. He says he can be in -20 degrees and still be comfy. Loves these pants!

We liked the pants but had to return them as they didn't fit easily over boot tops. The pants fit at waist and length but a bit more roominess in the legs would have made them keepers.
