Rated 5 out of 5áby TravelerTA best pants
I have several pairs of these and every time they go on sale, I consider buying another pair - just to ensure that when LL Bean stops carrying them, I'll have plenty to last me for years... These are incredibly versatile pants, but I've found they are my go-to for airline travel. They are thick enough to be worn as pants (not leggings or "yoga pants"), but not so thick that they are too hot, they keep their color and their shape with washing. I have worn them under longer tunic-like tops, too. They are a perfect blend of stretchiness, thickness, and clean stitching so they don't look like sweatpants.

I bought these pants to wear while traveling, although I don't usually wear knit pants. When I tried them on I could tell why they are called perfect fit. They are flattering, not too clingy, and very comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5áby notperfectpants They DO stretch out!!
I took a chance and believed the product description that the pants wouldn't stretch out of shape. The pants did stretch out of shape and bagged with the first wearing. I generally hate stretch knit, and these pants did not change my mind. I cannot understand why it is impossible now to get a pair of pants that fit a small woman (size 0-2) that are long enough (I am 5'4" and do not want ankle length pants), and don't have a "waist" at the navel or below. How hard is it to make pants that fit women who have aged out of early adolescence?

Rated 4 out of 5áby Michipaddler Excellent fit but fabric soils easily
These are wonderful pants (petite, extra small) for the short, relatively trim woman. They fit very well and are extremely comfortable. The newer version of these pants has pockets and a smooth waistband. Unfortunately, the light colored fabric (khaki) soils extremely easily. Any tiny contact has the tendency to form a spot, and while most of these can be gotten out if one responds quickly, this is quite a bother. The darker colors are recommended.

I love these pants & have had a number of them for several years. My only complaint is that you no longer have the dark brown. Mine are in need of replacement & I just can't give them up & they are looking pretty worn after several years wear. I've ordered 2 pair of the fossil brown, but prefer the darker brown you use to have.

I've been ordering these pants for years and this latest iteration looks really good, but I miss the large pockets. One of the great things about these pants is I don't have to carry a purse when shopping. There has been lots of room for credit card, keys, etc. While these are more elegant and slimming, I think I would trade the new styling for larger pockets. That said they are still great pants. For other shoppers I also ordered two of the boot cut pants. They look great, but have no pockets at all!!! Sad!!!

After almost a decade of wear, I recently had to discard my first two pairs of Perfect Fit Straight Leg pants. The black had faded to sepia, and the seams and waistband were threadbare, but they were much loved to the very end. Who could ask for better service from a garment? Of course, I have bought more pairs which I expect will serve me as well. I have tried the Perfect Fit Original, but I like the way the Straight Leg style fits around the waist and hips and the wider width at the bottom of the leg.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Mimira Poor sizing control
I love these pants and I keep ordering them, but the quality control on size is very poor. One time I ordered a black, a navy, and a gray all in the same size. The black was perfect, the navy was a full 2 inches shorter, and the gray was one size too small. My newest order in khaki is being exchanged - too small. Be prepared for multiple exchanges with attendant mailing costs.

I find these pants to fit better and better the more that I wear them. I am 5'4" and 145 lbs. I ordered a Med Petite and they fit really good. Seemed a little snug at first, but they mellow with wear. I purchased them to wear in the car on a long road trip.

Rated 1 out of 5áby Kanly Disappointed
I ordered a new pair and was disappointed as soon as I took them out of the packaging. The flat waist band was gone, replaced by a gathered one, the tummy panel was gone and the fabric was flimsy. The fit was horrendous. The waist puckered, the tummy area was baggy and the thigh area was snug.
I have worn these pants for a couple years...the ones with the flat front and tummy panel. I loved them, they were comfy, fit beautifully, the fabric was of substantial weight and draped nicely
This pant could be dressed up or down. I lived in them, they were my go to pant.
LLBean bring back the old style with tummy panel and flat front and please watch the quality control. These pants are cheap and not worth the money!
