I rarely take time to write reviews, but these are terrific pants. I love the feel, fit and fabric. They are great for travel and casual wear. It is hard to find pockets that don't bulge and pockets are so handy for travel. I will be buying more.

I was looking to upscale my yoga pant look. These were a great selection. I look classy and am very comfortable. I would recommend getting the tall. I'm 5'7". they sit at the waist, but it's very smooth. Any shirt looks great with it. If you like yoga pants but want to look like you are a grown up, these are the pants for you.

Bought these on sale and I have never seen such poor quality in pants. On both pairs one leg was longer than the other, and neither pair were the right length of 31". I wish LL Bean had their pants made in the USA like they used to. Very disappointed in these. Had to pay a seamstress to fix the length of both pairs of pants. Because they were on sale I figured I couldn't get my size in them when I realized they were defective, so I did not return them, but chose to have them fixed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TNGardener my favorite comfy pants
I LOVE these pants and have bought dozens of pairs over the years. They wash and dry well, although the color does tend to begin fading a bit after maybe 20-30 washes. I tend to keep a few pair that still look "nice" and then a bunch that I just use to kick around the house. The fabric is a good weight and the stretch makes them so comfy. I am 5'5" and the petite is a good length for me. My only complaint is that all of the colors except black are too faded and don't look attractive. I encourage LLBean to make these pants in a very dark chocolate and a bright white.

What happened to my favorite pants???? These new ones are so disappointing!!! They are baggy, cheap looking and feel awful on, just like the ones from other cheap stores?? Not LL Bean quality!!! They do not have the front panel like my older ones?? Just a frumpy looking elastic waists that does not lay flat. These are more like thin sweat pants??? Please bring back the ones you had before, I for one will not buy anymore of these!!! Very disappointed in LL Bean for lowering their standards on these pants.

I had to return these pants because they were too big and the fabric lacked the heft I expected. They felt cheap. Also, they were obviously work-out pants - would look silly wearing them for anything other than that..

Rated 3 out of 5 by Travel1977 Good, but fade fast
I have purchased, and loved, these pants for years, but it does seem like the latest batch of black fades very quickly--as in within 2 washes. They look very faded--although I do still wear them because they are comfortable. The fading issue seems to be new, so perhaps there is a new dye or something else that could be corrected.

these are nothing but stretch junk. why not just buy tights if your figure works with that kind of material. If you don't have that 25 year old curvey figure then forget this pair of pants. Disgusting!

I have worn these pants for years and have over a dozen of them in my closet right now. I always wore a M Regular, but my last few orders have been so strange. Some are two inches longer than others, some are smaller in the hips and shorter in the rise. I never know what to expect anymore. I have purchased several pair at a time with widely variable fits. I know they can be returned, but I can't wear another size and there is no way to know how the ones your order will fit you--short, long, tight, loose. The fabric still says it is the same mix, but some feel very different. I do wish LLBean would make these to a certain standard so we could count on the fit.

I have several pairs of these slacks. I love the gray, and the black is a staple. Navy blue is an option- I always think I need navy blue, but don't wear them often. These alacks are a definite staple to my work wardrobe. I leave at 5:45 in the morning with an hour commute, so some mornings I really need a quick outfit. These slacks can be dressed up or down, another plus.
I thought the 30" length would be sufficient, but I would go with the 32" inseam. If you are careful you won't need to steam or lightly press them- a huge plus!
