Rated 5 out of 5 by UWAlum These are truly perfect pants!
I rarely take time to write reviews, but these are terrific pants. I love the feel, fit and fabric. They are great for travel and casual wear. It is hard to find pockets that don't bulge and pockets are so handy for travel. I will be buying more.

In the past I have loved these pants. The black ones are so neat I can wear them as dress pants. Having said that I have not worn or washed these new pants I just purchased
because I decided I am going to the store and try on a Med. I bought Large. I have bought both in the past and my problem is that the L is too large in the hips/thighs and the Med is just a little bit too tight in the hips, This pair of pants seems bigger than the ones I already have and the feel of the fabric seems a little inferior to the others I have purchased and loved. So until I wash these I can't comment further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wordzworth Fun pants for work or whatever
These have in short order become an essential in my wardrobe. Great to wear under a long-ish sweater or tunic top, for those times when regular trousers would be too much clothing and leggings or yoga pants would not be enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 Run very large
these pants are nice, comfortable, and seem like they will hold up well if cared for carefully. I've only had them two weeks so can't give a lengthy review.
Wanted to give a review to caution others to order a size down, they run very large.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lilypods 90% cotton, 10% lycra
Ordered a M petite. Inseam fine, waist okay, but more room around the hips than I care for. Not really a "perfect fit, but it's the material that I really didn't like. These are essentially cotton slacks. Okay for around the house or doing chores, but I would not wear them to my office and would not order another pair.

I bought these pants for a cruise because the Lycra does not wrinkle. That said, when I got home I put one pair into a cold temp delicate cycle washing machine and all of the fiber came away from the lycra...it became thread bare!!! The other pants I bought I must hand wash in the sink to prevent the fabric from disintegrating. The material is so thick that it takes days to dry without using the dryer. So I use the dryer successfully without damage to the fabric. The fabric does NOT shrink. That is a plus! You can wear the pants forever because they do not fatigue. For any body odor you may detect use Febreez!

I've purchased these pants since they were introduced, and have them in every color. They were my favorite pants for travel. This year I purchased another pair of the black, and was extremely disappointed in the quality. The fabric feels and looks like cheap polyester, and has 'puckers' - rather like a slight case of cellulite. Not the look I want in a pair of pants! The old pants are soft and feel almost like a flannel, even after several years of wear. The new pants are stiff and almost shiny. I sent them back immediately. I would guess that LLBean chose the new fabric because it is cheaper than the old, but I'd rather pay a few dollars more and get a decent-looking pair of pants I can travel with over and over again. Please go back to the old-style fabric!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by dozzie comfortable without looking baggy
These are the ultimate in comfort and ease--no zipper or other hardware, soft and sleek against the skin. So far they have not bagged at the knees so still look OK at the end of the day. Stains so far have washed out cleanly. I find that I'm wearing them more often than I thought I would.

As I said in my review of the cords, you Never know what length you're going to get! The cords were 3 colors and 3 different lengths. These knit pants are ridiculously long! My husband actually laughed when I modeled my latest LL Bean purchase. Very disappointing. Also, form for review will not allow me to indicate 1 star and too long. They Are 1 star!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by comfortmatters Gray Heather fabric is a problem
I have these pants in black and navy and love them. After wearing the gray heather pair for a day, I couldn't wait to take them off because the fabric irritated my skin. It is thicker and not as smooth as the black and navy fabrics. The black and navy pants would get 5 stars, but the gray heather only 2. I do appreciate LL Bean's generous return policy, which allows returns after an item has been worn if it is found to be unsatisfactory.
