I love the fit of these jeans, but the wear did no meet my expectations. I am used to my jeans fraying at the cuffs due to my short legs, but this pair also had a hole form in the front of the jeans near the crotch area. I only had these jeans for 17 months when this happened. I am purchasing another pair because I loved the fit so much, but if they don't wear any better I won't be purchasing another pair.

I've been buying this model for several years. I agree with the comments that they seem to have become very "baggy" in the seat and thighs. Biggest frustration is durability as most recent purchases tend to wear at the top inside-most pocket edge within a year. You can see the fabric whiten after each washing and shortly after a hole develops right next to the pocket. I have even had one pair where the material tore on the leg within 6 months across the fabric, side to side. LLB has been good about replacing one pair when I brought this to their attention. May contact them about a pair that I just tore this weekend. Is it unreasonable for jeans that are worn 2-3 days of the week in an office environment to last longer than a year?
Maybe they have changed too but I had Levi's that would easily go 10 years with frequent usage. They never wore out in the seat.

I ordered the 34 inch waist with the 30 inch inseam. When I put them on they were waaaaay too long! But the excessive length was not in the legs, which were spot-on perfect. Instead, the distance between the crotch and waistband was excessive. When the waistband was at my waist, the crotch was half way to my knees. When I raised the crotch to a natural level the inseam was perfect, but the waistband was up to my rib cage! Ridiculous! When I compared these to my other jeans, I found these LL Bean jeans were a full 2.5 inches longer from crotch to waist (12.5" vs 10"). This would account for several reviewers finding these jeans "baggy." Customer service later informed me that the so-called "natural fit" has a higher "rise" than most jeans, which was not explained in the product description. I wish they had told me that when I asked about sizing just before I ordered the product. So back they go, and I'm out the return shipping cost due to LL Bean's failure to accurately describe the fit. I'm exchanging them for regular Double L Standard Fit jeans. Too bad, because the elastic waistband was really comfortable and these jeans were otherwise very well made. Note to LL Bean designers: Men with normal bodies would like to have elastic waist jeans, too!

Rated 2 out of 5áby Tentlady Huge in seat and thigh
My husband has ordered these previously, but the fit is totally different. These are huge in the seat and thigh. Also the previous pair had elastic on each side which works so much better for him than the hidden expandable band. The white of the pocket show with the expandable band but the pocket lays flat with the band that just has elastic. Also, would like to see these in the crosshatch denim, much dressier look. But please don't put in the worn faded lines that so many jeans have.

I have worn these jeans for years. I recently ordered two pair and they much larger in the seat and legs than any of my previous ones. Don't seem to a Natural cut at all, more like loose...very relaxed cut.

Very comfortable waist, but upper legs are humongous! Not one person asked likes the look.

I have purchased many Jeans from Bean and have always been happy with the product. I like the waist band on these jeans but I believe the fading process weakend the jeans too much. within one wash I found that there were two holes forming on one leg and I also noticed that there were some white spots around the pockets that actually appear to be bleach marks - I am really hoping that this was a defective pair since I did like the look of the fade... I will be returning these and have ordered a different color of the same style.
But with any purchase of any product, I know that I will be happy in the end since LL Bean is a great company.

My husband has worn a version of these jeans for YEARS! It is such a relief to come back year after year and be able to order the same quality product that keeps my husband happy!

They are so comfortable that my husband says it does not feel like he is wearing anything! These are his first pair of LL Bean jeans, so I did not wash them before he wore them, in case he did not like them. He refuses to just try things on! So it is even more amazing that they were comfortable without being washed by us. LL Bean does prewash these however. I don't particularly like any jeans on him, but the the dark ones dress them up a bit and the style is somewhat flattering. They are much nicer than the ones he bought himself.

Rated 5 out of 5áby WVaGuy Perfect jeans for CCW
I now have three pair of the these jeans and I love them. If your looking for jeans for IWB holsters these are what you're looking for. The overall fit is perfect and the expanding waist is perfect for slipping in your holster. They work great. No more buying a size larger for concealed carry. These are a must have. My go to jeans from now on.
