Rated 2 out of 5 by blueguitar Wide legs and inaccurate color
I will be returning these. I own several pairs but the latest ones have extremely wide legs whereby the pant leg extends well past your butt when looking at a side profile view. As well , the so-called khaki Color is really orange/yellow and not how it is depicted online regardless of which screen I use to view. They look like Charlie Chaplin clown pants.
Llbean really needs to offer a broader choice of colors (the 1912 standard fit jeans, for example, are still not available in black - if they were, it would make a great travelling pair) and should consider a trimmer leg fit. Even though I'm pushing 60, I find the style is quite dated and color choices too limited.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KOViking Pathfinder Pants Pocket Access
I've purchased several pair of Pathfinder shorts in the past and a couple of more this summer. Late summer, I also ordered 3 pair of Pathfinder Pants thinking they were the same with full pant legs.
With the shorts, the lower pockets have 2 Velcro squares on the ends of the flaps with a center pull loop. On the Pants, the lower pockets have 1 Velcro square behind the center pull loop and the two ends of the pocket flap are stitched shut making it extremely difficult to put your hand in the pocket, much less place or remove anything in the pocket.
In addition, ON THE SHORTS, the pockets are made of the same sturdy material as the outer, firmly attached on the outside of the thigh. ON THE PANTS, the pockets are made of a cheaper cotton material, free swinging, stitched inside the outer shell. This design makes it hard to carry gear in the pockets, stretches out the material between the leg and outer shell, and is uncomfortable.
I would not buy the Pathfinder Pants again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jay60 Comfortable and practical, but do fade quickly
These pants are comfortable, and I like the look, casual but not jeans. Have bought a bunch of them. I've pretty much switched over to them for everyday wear, because the flush cargo pockets provide the extra pocket space I need, without standing out. BUT the colors fade quickly, even though I'm careful to wash them inside-out. I don't have a fading problem with any of my other laundry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lockguy Great Pants
I am pleased with these pants. They fit well and I have no complaints. I am 5'8" and weigh 155 lbs. and can still see my feet and belt buckle. Other pants have the extra material in the butt and thighs and look like sails on me, these do not. I also like the side pockets that do not stick way out, so these are great. I would recommend these pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 4040 Just right!
Ordering clothing without trying it on has been a mixed bag for me. You just never know until that package arrives and you finally get it on whether it was a smart move. These pants were a smart move. Put them on right out of the package and they fit better than I had hoped. I need pants with a 29" inseam, which are extremely hard to find. Good ol' LL Bean had them. These pants are tailored nicely, but casual as well. Well made, good fabric, cargo and rear pockets have velcro closures that work, and standard hip pockets. Very comfortable and good looking. I'm very happy with them.

These pants are great! Tough yet very soft, its hard to believe that they are actually made of canvas! I will wear them often! color is great too, I got the khaki color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PeterOP My Favorite Pants
These pants are extremely comfortable, fit my hard-to-fit body and are of the right weight to be useful in all but the very hottest or coldest weather. The pockets could be a little larger, but the up side is that the cargo pockets don't bulge out the way most do but are still usable. This maintains a relatively slim, tailored appearance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by activeguy47 OK pants, but...
These pants are comfortable and the fabric is tough. (I fell while hiking a rocky trail and skinned my knee but the pants held up. Washed the blood out and they are as good as new) However, the one thing that keeps this review from a better rating is that the fly zipper is only 5 1/2" in length. The standard zipper for all of my other pants is 6". Why the short zipper is a mystery. Having to undo the waist button to go to the bathroom is not convenient!
