Great jacket for yard work and doing stuff around the house or wearing to work. Very warm and good quality. It is my second one. Lost my first one. I also will wear the fleece under my old LL Bean Gortex jacket and provides added warmth.

I perspire and having an outerwear garment that wicked perspiration was a must.
Having a second layer (which is what this jacket truly is)that blocked the wind and was lite enough to pack into a backpack was my second requirement.
This jacket passed both tests with flying colors. Worn with a medium weight polyprop base layer you can hike in temps down to 30 degrees. A intermediate layer will allow you to drop those temps even further .
This isn't a trim fit garment and for me, that's ideal. It is long enough to cover my back cycling.
I don't think you can find a better second layer jacket at the price.

I got the 'red' one, color is very nice, not too bright. Fit is good, I usually wear between a Med and Large, got the Med and seems to run big, so happy with fit - sleeves slightly long (or I have short arms). Good quality, well constructed, warm. I'd give it a 5th star if it had an inside breast pocket, does have two large inside ones (along with two zipped outside), but they are down at the waist and the existing zipped breast pocket is only accessible from outside.

I bought this after my previous Bean fleece wore out after being my go to jacket for over 15 years. This new one seems to be just as good as my previous jacket and I am looking forward to another 15 years of wear

More of a dress quality jacket than camping or trekking wear. Sleeves are too long and it is overpriced. I have several similar but with nylon at wear points which cost about $79, a proper price and superior in whole. ..

Very dissapointed, because the wrist and the "LIGHT" blue fabric (as in the picture) actually is NAVY blue.

This is my second Wind Challenger. Wears like iron. Warm with a sweater down to freezing. All the good stuff others have written about it is true. But what I like best? I don't get zapped when I take it off. Polar tech stuff normally turns me into a lightning rod, but not so with this jacket.

I love this jacket! It's versatile enough for me to wear to work (a university), as well as for outdoor winter events (i.e. xc skiing). Easy to wash - just no fabric softener.

I have several of these, living in Colorado, where the temperatures can vary quickly, I wear them everywhere during season changes and under a jacket in the colder weather. Always keeps me warm and comfortable.
