Rated 2 out of 5 by BizCasual Thinner than prior version
I bought the fleeced lined hoodie two years ago and loved how thick it was and how warm it was. The boys have outgrown the prior ones and I bought two more in larger sizes, thinking it would be the same warmth and thickness. It is not. The new jackets are thinner and not the same quality. I'm very disappointed how quality deteriorates over time. Seems to be happening at many retailers. Our money just doesn't go as far and we end up with inferior products.

My son hates large coats - this was the perfect solution. The blue color is deep vet vibrant. The lining is plush - typical LL Bean quality.

I purchased this sweatshirt for my soon to be 13 year old in Fiery Red. It is a little bright for my taste, but red is his favorite color. He absolutely loves the feel of this sweatshirt and has not taken it off since I purchased it....about a week or so ago. It is super soft inside! As a middle schooler, he chooses not to wear a winter coat to school in our cold NJ December weather and he has been warm enough to stand at the bus stop in the morning with this sweatshirt and a t-shirt underneath. I wish the sweatshirt came in a better selection of colors. I would purchase more. By the way, he is on the small side for his age and I purchased the XL. The sleeves fit perfectly, so they are probably on the shorter side and the body of the sweatshirt is plenty big on him.

Rated 5 out of 5 by madjh Amazing Product, Great Service
We bought our first Camp Hoodie 7 years ago. That one is still soft and warm and wonderful and going strong on my younger son. My older son is wearing his second one - and again, showing almost no signs of wear and tear except that the zipper got jammed up and was not working. LL Bean got a replacement right out to me and I was happy to see that it's just as high quality as the jacket it replaced - not always the case. We also ordered one in a larger size because our oldest is about to grow out of the one he's currently in. These jackets are well loved in our house - both new and as hand-me-downs. I imagine younger cousins will get good use out of them after we're done with them - and my boys are not easy on their clothes!

I had to buy 3 of these since my 5 year old wants to wear it every day, indoors and out. It's very warm and looks great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ballard sleeves too small
nice jacket but I ordered a 10-12 for my 11 year old and the sleeves were too small. My 11 year old is not big for his age. I gave that jacket to his 9 year old brother. I then ordered a 14-16 for my eleven year old and the sleeves fit, although the rest of the jacket is a bit oversized.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Canadienne Great for active girls!
I bought this in Regatta Blue for my daughter. The girls' version is way too skinny. The boys' version is like the good old unisex hoodie that we've buying for years. The fit is relaxed, which allows for more layers, the outer fabric is soft and stretchy and the fleece lining is so warm and cosy. This is a true classic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2Happyof3 Really nice, fits great, super soft lining!
My son loves this sweatshirt! He is seven and the size 8 small fits him perfect and is plenty roomy for wearing shirts underneath. He wants to wear it everyday. We just got it for the new school year. It is summer and he can't wait for fall! I am thinking of getting him another one in a different color, one for myself and his little brother! Thanks for the very well made hoodie!
