I have bought the Bayside Twill Pants for years and years and years. I require a tall and I like pockets. These pants have been perfect. Now I find out that talls are no longer available. Why?? I am going to have to say goodbye to L.L. Bean. I don't want to but I now have to find somewhere where I can find talls and comfortable waistlines and pockets. I can't remember the last time that I could find these anywhere else.

I've been wearing Baysides for years and still have 4 pairs of size 12 that I'm wearing. I had to send this pair back for a 14. Also noticed the fabric is lighter in weight. Still the best pants out there! I'm 63 and not interested in low cut pants with no pockets!

the manufacturing is fine..the material is poor. have three pairs...first was too big, so ordered two the next size down. both those pairs, the material tore (in the middle, not near a seam or anything) within a couple months. the material almost feels threadbare. began wearing the larger pair a month or so later, today, it did the same thing. if you never bend over or down, you might be fine.

I have been ordering these pants for over 10 years. They wash wonderfully, fit great, and hold up for quite a long time, even so I wear them in every color to work every day. Great value and quality material!

I just received my order, and am thrilled with the fit of the bayside twill pants with comfort waist.
Although my first choice would not have been to have an elastic waistband, these fit so well that I can't complain! I always struggle trying to find pants that are roomy enough in the hips without being "gappy" in the waist, and these pants fill the bill.
Thanks, LL Bean, you have a new fan! And please don't change your styling or sizing on these pants!

When I got the "Original Fit" jeans and loved them, I made the mistake of thinking that if it said "Original Fit" anything would be the right rise. I bought these in three different colors since it had been so long since I had found any non-hip hugger pants.
These turned out to be more "Classic Fit" and sit about belly-button level. They don't feel good and I keep trying to pull them up where they should be but I will keep them as they are better than anything in the stores.
Surely it's time to make all those hip-huggers obsolete and make "high-waisted" the new fad so everyone has to buy all new wardrobes.

Just ordered my fourth pair, they are fabulous. Love the material, the fit is perfect, great that they come in Petite length.
Please, please do not change a thing about these pants, love the comfort waist and the 100% cotton. Thank you LLBean, you are the best.
