I absolutely love these button-front shirts. I have them in many colors and they look great year after year. I just update them because each year there are new and beautiful colors. Washed very well and feels so soft. Highly recommend this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TKnTexas Love button-front Pima shirts--PETITES PLEASE!
I own a couple of these button-front shirts, finding they are such a great buy because I can wear them to work all 4 seasons in Texas. Keeping it from being 5 stars is that they don't come in petite sizes and I have to add a $12 alteration fee to the cost for shortening the sleeves 2-3 inches, which makes it a pricey cotton shirt--unless on sale. Also, they come in so few bright, fun colors like tomato red, coral/orange, sunny yellow, lime green, cobalt blue; also, a basic dark brown would be great. I would love to have more of these shirts, but many colors are often out of stock in my size. I sized up to XL the last time so I could comfortably layer a shirt under and it is plenty roomy without looking sloppy--am a full-bodied 5'3", 36DD on top, and usually wear size 16 petite. These shirts launder pretty well, although I find safest to lay out and stretch and block while damp and then hang to dry to keep the original size and shape and the placket from looking wavy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by fortwaynebuyer Warning - fit has changed
I loved these when they came in relaxed fit - I have all the colors in cardigans and shells. Now the fit has changed to "slightly fitted" along with several other items I used to buy regularly from LL Bean. You need to watch closely. Filters for items with relaxed fit will result in items that have moved to slightly fitted.
Moving on to another brand now for the things I love with a sizing made for real people. Who the heck did they interview for this switch on sizes / fits? Not dedicated customers that is for sure.
And there is nothing to tell you what size to buy to get the fit you really like. So if I bought something in misses L relaxed fit - what size is that in slightly fitted that they've moved on to?
I will continue to look at things that come in some realistic fits, as I do love LL Bean. But I expect it will be dropping off the list if this keeps up as I like clothing appropriate for work - not teenager or nightclubbing fits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanLover216 More Please!
I have been wearing these for the last 3 years. All I can say is they are my go to shirt/sweater summer. spring and fall. The material is as soft as can be. They look great with jeans, skirts dressed up or down. The fit is also very nice. I wear a 1X and find the sleeves and length to be cut just right for a fuller figure.
My only compliant is that there are never enough colors or stock. I have about 5 colors but would happily purchase others if I saw them in your catalogue. Also, the tank tops go perfectly as an ensemble for women of an age when body temperatures can be quite labile.
In short I love wearing these pieces and would recommend to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scubared Great shirt (especially for warm weather areas)
This shirt combined with the shell is perfect all year long in warm weather places like Southern Arizona! They wash well and always look good. The problem is the stock available is hit or miss!!!! Please keep these in stock with more color selection. Wanted navy, and the first day I saw it available it was already sold out (and I check often). I wear these sets all the time (the warm outside weather means amped up AC inside).
I really enjoyed the fall colors last year, but not so much this year.
PLEASE bring the navy back in the shell and button front!!! Navy is so hard to find and it is a basic staple.

These are really great. Will even roll up in my handbag for just-in-case. Where are your navy blue ones though?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tygrl Mom loves it
I sent this and the short sleeve crew neck to my mom in the rich violet color. She called me immediately to tell me how much she loved the set and how silky the material feels. I haven't seen this but thought it would be a nice item for Fall weather. Her usual size M fit so true to size. Would love to see this in more jewel tones. Thank you for making good quality items.

Just discovered that these are no longer available in plus sizes! I am so disappointed as I have several in several colors that are needing replacement after constant use and have recommended them many times. I love the weight as these can be worn in summer air conditioning and perfect for spring and fall when you just need a little something on your arms. Also, they really dress up a tshirt when you need something a little more classy for shopping, doctors appointments, etc., and I often combine with the matching tank for an even more dressy look. The fabric is wonderfully soft and the pastels hold their color well. I am so sorry that I am not able to order these right now! Please bring back plus sizes in pastels!

Just received the teal button-down pima cotton shirt and noticed the buttons are different than all the others I have. These are not the white or oyster-shell looking ones, but nice flat round darker colored. Like them! I looked at my most recent black one and sure enough, they are more of a white. So happy to see the darker ones - was getting tired of white since they are so obvious.
Surprised and happy about the buttons!
Oh yes, the teal is rich and beautiful. Hope you continue to add more "current" colors. Orange (deep), funky greens, maybe even chartreuse!
