Rated 3 out of 5 by NDmom06 LLBean has GOT to seriously look at their designs!
These cuts are not flattering. Pima shirts were the Best. LLBean keeps recutting restyling & making a great product not great. SO DISAPPOINTED. Just increase the price & give us back the former Great clothing styles.

As someone who has worn these shirts for ten years, I am disappointed to say that I notice a decline in quality in the last couple of years. The shirts are slightly smaller and shorter and they shrink in the dryer. I now hang them to dry which shouldn't be necessary.
I would still recommend them, but with this caveat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sunflower33 Sizing Fit Shrinkage Disappoint 20 year Customer
I've been buying LLBean pima cotton t-shirts and turtlenecks for 20 years. I am sad to say the sizing, fit, and shrinkage of this year's shirts has been a major problem for me.
The starting size of the ALL of the pima shirts before washing is much smaller than prior years. especially in the bust, arm openings, armpits. and arms. I have dingy size L LLBean pima shirts I bought in the past that still fit me fine. But the new ones don't. Instead of L, I need to buy XL or even 1X to have the ease of fit comparable to prior years.
Also, there is much more shrinkage in all of the shirts. They lose much more of the length than they used to with washing and drying on delicate. With such tight fit, shrinkage causes big problems and causes customers to return lots of merchandise.
Dear Professionals at LLBean:
Please, please, please return to the sizing and fit of prior years on your classic items, such as pima t-shirts and pima turtlenecks!!! I am certain there are hundreds of thousands of us out here who LOVE your merchandise and would BUY much, much more of it if there weren't these problems with sizing, fit, and shrinkage.

not sure if this is the same top last year I bought two v neck topsID 280366, the cloth was fine, but they were so wide and short. My job involves reaching, lifting, etc. bare midriff look not attractive on any but the young and fit. always loved the pima cotton tops, but do not seem to be the same quality.

Too thin of material, shows lumps and bumps- it's clingy. And shrinks after one wash, so it's too small, and I wear size small. Sent back already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jmg18 They get MUCH wider and shorter over time
I've had a few of these shirts for several years now, and after a month or so, they're useless for anything other than pajama shirts or hidden under a sweater. They shrink (I'm short, and they barely make it to my belly button), and get unbelievably wide - ridiculously wide. The cotton is soft though, so they make a nice pajama shirt. So long as you're okay with how short they are.

I love these shirts and have bought many of them. Why are there so few X-Large? Are you discontinuing them?

Lovely color but shirt fits a bit lop sided, higher on the right side than the left. It's on its way back.

Love these shirts, but I have noticed that the picture is not what you get. The shirt originally fell on the hip like the picture but lately they seem to have added to the length and now it falls at the crotch. Wish they would have a shorter version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Amaguire True Navy ?
We are required to wear navy shirts to work on the weekend at my store, so I ordered this True Navy shirt from LLBean. Always happy with the quality of your garments, although in this case the color is very off. More like a psychedelic navy than a true navy. Hard to believe, but it is very difficult to find any navy t-shirts on-line at all. I think this is the only one LLBean has on offer, and at $22.00, it's a real disappointment that the color is wrong. I'll wear it, but it sure looks funny .
