Rated 5 out of 5 by LoveYourPockets Pima Cotton - Well worth the money
This is exactly as described in catalog and on-line: silky inside & out. I prefer 100% Pima to the shirts with spandex in collar & cuffs, especially turtlenecks. Your pima cotton turtleneck holds up in laundry for years and years. I have some that I have worn for more than 4 years. The fit has not changed.

I bought this in white for this winter.
It's very soft and the neck is not too tight. That is a biggy for me.
I can't wait until it gets cold enough to wear it!

I ordered this shirt in navy, but although the blue is very nice, it is not a true navy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NatureHugger High Quality, Great Fit, Love It!
I love this turtleneck! I'm slender, 5'7" 140 pounds, and the size SMALL fits perfectly. The material is high quality and feels wonderful against my skin. The neck is neither too tight nor too loose, and the arms are long enough. Perfect. The torso length is good, too. This product washes well. I usually hang my cotton turtlenecks rather than put them in the dryer, but sometimes, if I'm in a hurry, I will put them in the dryer. Either way, they stay like new. Please, LLBean, keep this wonderful product as is!

Rated 4 out of 5 by MichtoKy Nice, but runs wide
I love the fabric and shape of this shirt, but they run wide. I tend to fit XS-S in LL Bean shirts, so knowing that I went with the XS. (A helpful chat person gave me the actual measurements so I could compare the measurements to shirts I already have.)
The problem with the width is that in order to get a shirt that isn't too baggy, I had to size down enough that it is short in the body length and sleeves. I wish they would add a couple inches of length to the body and a little to the sleeves, or make them a little slimmer.

I bought this shirt in the cream color. I really like the color and the fabric, however, I think it shrank slightly after washing it. I can still wear it underneath sweaters. I also have long arms and the sleeve length could be a little longer for me. The quality is very good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Stella1322 Not the Same Quality
I have to say, I am disappointed in this Pima Cotton Turtleneck. I have purchased several in the past, and this years' version does not seem to be of the same quality. The fabric feels thinner to me and the neck has not held it's shape. I would rather pay a little more for a turtleneck that feels more substantial.

For the most part, I like the pima cotton turtleneck. The neck is comfortable and so is the sleeve length. It also washes well. However, the problem is the length of the shirt, which makes it difficult to tuck into jeans and pants. Any movement causes the shirt to become untucked. With my husband's Bean turtlenecks, he is accommodated for both sleeve and length. I am on the shorter side, so this is frustrating, as I can imagine it would be for women who have longer arms and torso.
Please consider making the shirt longer.

While I still love the material and INITIAL fit of all the pima shirts from LLB, I am so terribly disappointed with the shrinkage that happens every - single -time!!
With no exceptions, EVERY single pima top I have ordered from LLB over the last 3 years (or so) has shrunk at least 2 inches in length and at least 1.5 inches in width after the first wash - even using almost no heat in the dryer. And they continue to shrink, until after about the 5th or 6th wash, they are almost like the old crop tops that barely cover the waist. I am slightly above average height at 5'-7", but this is just ridiculous - and costly. Who can afford to have to replace their clothing after only a month or 2 of wear???
I have older pima shirts from LLB - probably at least 6 years old - that still fit exactly as they did the day I got them, so I know that Bean must have changed the fabric at some point since that time.
PLEASE - PLEASE either go back to the older fabric - if possible - or start offering these shirts in sizes for taller women - that goes for Bean's regular tees, too. I think you'd make a whole lot of ladies very happy if you did.
