I really like the fit and weight of these glasses (I have a small face), and I have been careful to always remove them with both hands and put them in their hard case, but pretty quickly the plastic nose pieces fell off, not to be found. I have been wearing them without the nose pieces (metal prongs against my nose) while looking for better bifocal sunglasses. I would not recommend them to anyone who is not extremely careful with their belongings! I also agree that the bifocal area is extremely small, and does require tilting your head back to make use of it. I may go back to LLB's polarized bifocal sport glasses, which have a superior bifocal area, but I've had 2 pairs of them, each of which also fell apart: one lost the nose pieces, the other the padded cover on the ear pieces.

I have a pair of LL Bean sunglasses that are also readers and have enjoyed them for years. I thought I would try these just to have a little variety. They are nicely styled and very lightweight. Of course, the sale price helped too! I wore them approximately a week and the "leg" fell off. It was impossible to find that tiny little screw and I don't know if I could have fixed it myself. I just packaged them and sent them back. I haven't received my requested gift card but I am confident that there will be no issue: after all, this is LL Bean and they are the best!

Rated 2 out of 5 by aehw Bifocal too low
I worked in the optics and lens world for 25 years, and I found the quality of the bifocal portion of the lenses to be unacceptable. Maybe these would work for fishing, but the bifocal segment was located so low and was so small that I couldn't find it without tilting my head way up. The first pair that I ordered had lenses that were full of aberrations at the bifocal line, which made the difficulty finding the bifocal worse. I exchanged the first pair. The second pair didn't have the distortions in the lenses, but I still couldn't find the bifocal easily. The quality of the distance part of these lenses was fine, and I loved the lightweight frame, but I still returned them for credit, as i already have a pair of expensive polarized sunglasses without a bifocal.

Area of magnification is way too small for reading. Will be returning these.

These are glasses you can wear all day long without getting the painful pinched feeling on your ears, nose, or sides of your head.
The lightweight arms keep the glasses on without any pressure so the glasses won't fall off when you exercise or do vigorous yard work.
The lenses seem to be high quality and are easy to clean.
If there is one complaint, I wish the bifocal area was just a touch higher so I wouldn't have to look so far down to use it, but hey, it's there when needed and that's a good thing.

Great pair of glasses. Lightweight and great clarity. The bifocal is low enough that it doesn't interfere with normal sight and you almost forget you are wearing bifocals.
Great price for nice quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Faro Glasses For a small to medium face
The glasses are very made but after receiving them in the mail I found them to not look quite right on my face .The glasses appeared to be too small. I am a large man with a squarish face and chin and think a larger overall set of glasses would be better suited to the size and shape of my face. At $159 I find these a little expensive especially if theyweren't a perfect fit.

While I found the sunglasses to be great for the beach and reading, the closeness of the lenses to the eyes and the somewhat clinging aspect of the loops around the ears were a bit uncomfortable. Also while driving, the increased magnification took some getting used to. I returned them and bought the more conventional bifocals which work much better for me while driving or wearing them at leisure.
