Very nice quality backpack...comfortable...only complaint is zippers sticking in the rain guard. Just a small annoyance...but would recommend the backpack.

I haven't actually used the pack yet, but it has SO many pockets that I can't imagine not liking it. More stores should make the interiors of purses, packs and luggage a light color. Am taking it to hike along Hadrian's Wall this summer for my day pack.

I've owned this pack for some years and feel I owe it a review.
The design allows for a wide range of uses. I've particularly depended on it for:
* bicycle commuting (the laptop compartment helps)
* family trips to the park (the main compartment is big enough to hold a child's batting helmet and a couple of mitts)
* day hikes (nice to have two water bottles)
* airplane carry-on
Yes, the zippers sometimes get caught in the flaps around them, and I wish the pack had some kind of reflective material. But overall it's the best knapsack I've ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ZigTan Comfortable, roomy, works great!
This is the second Quickload Day Pack that I've owned. I bought the first one over five years ago and finally had to replace it due to wear. I use it everyday, it's always with me and I can stuff it full if I'm going on an all day trek. I've tried a lot of different backpacks and this is the one I come back to every time. I'm a small framed woman and one of the biggest issues with backpacks for me is that the straps do not stay on your shoulders or it sits incorrectly on my back and doesn't feel comfortable. That is not the case with this pack. I have to carry EPI pens because of an allergy so this backpack is always with me. I recommend it highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TJWolfe Perfect for the Bus to Work
I was looking for a thin profile pack that could hold a 15" laptop, some basic office supplies (pens, folders, folio, etc.) and a lunchbox. This back has been perfect! I no longer knock in to people as I walk down the isle on the public transportation bus, it holds my lunchbox (which I bought the LL Bean lunch box to go with it, also thin profiled and just the right size), and is ergonomically snug on my shoulders. I can't say enough good things about this pack. I know it will last a long time and is supported by LL Bean's guarantee. The pack perfectly matches the black and green lunch box I bought. The only thing I might say to improve is that it would have been great to have an all black option (I chose the black with green). Other than that I am completely satisfied!! :)

i got this day pack for a European trip. I wanted something light, not too bulky and easy to carry. It holds a lot! I stuffed in travel books, coat, purse, notebooks and two bottles of water. But never felt it was too heavy or awkward. I will use this for hiking too. It is just the right size and comfort.

I purchased this day pack to have ample room for my books and my laptop when i decided to go back to school for nursing. This back pack served the purpose and i am very satisfied with it. its more than a year old now and it still looks like new. i use this back pack 3-4 times a week while in college. it has yet to show wear and tear. This is a great quality pack for the price and there's llbeans superb guarantee to back it. Thank you llbean.
