Rated 5 out of 5 by EclecticCanadian Petite is perfect
I normally take a petite M in LL Bean clothing, and this jacket fits just as it should; shaped to the body, but not tight anywhere. I am 5'-2" and 130lbs. My favourite thing about this lightweight jacket is the collar/neck! When I have it fully zipped, the top of the collar, and the zipper come to well below my chin, yet still keeps the chill out; when it is unzipped, it looks quite discreet. Such a very welcome change from the usual collar/neck in this style of jacket.
The fleece is light weight, and very soft. In the winter time I keep my house in the mid-to-high sixties, and this is the perfect sweater to keep warm in. I imagine it will be a terrific summer jacket for chilly evenings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LovesHorsesAndDogs Thin fleece, but lovely, soft and comfortable too.
I have a hard time differentiating among the different fleece types. This one is definitely very thin, and not exactly designed to keep out the cold of a New England winter. But, it is extremely soft, the color is lovely, and the fit is comfortably loose. Although I was hoping for a thicker jacket to replace a fleece I've had for many years, this will useful for layering and also good in the warmer weather. It is a keeper for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EngineerDave Great jacket!
My wife owns several jackets and 3/4 zip fitness fleece shirts. She wears the jackets almost every day. They are thin, but warm and great to wear alone or under jackets when you need some warmth, but it is not bulky. The black one is very practical for everything. The fit is perfect (med. for a size 12) The zip ones pill a little, but the jackets don't pill. This is a great jacket to wear all year and for traveling since it does not take a lot of room in the suitcase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vicky09 Soft, lightweight, durable
Over the years, I have bought five of these lightweight
fleece jackets. The colors are great and because they are so light, cozy and comfortable, I wear them in the house as well as when going out. To dress them up, I wear a matching scarf and am ready for most informal occasions. They are durable, if you wash them in cold water and keep them out of the drier. Well worth the money.

Why have this useless "sport" pocket. Otherwise the jacket is versatile for lots of occasions, do not want to look like I'm working out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OneidaLakerFan My Favorite Indoor Winter Wear
Over the past several years I have purchased several of these great LL Bean Fitness fleece jackets. I am addicted to the super soft feel of the fleece, and I prefer the jacket style without the hood, as it is more versatile for indoor use. I wear one of these almost every day indoors throughout the Fall and winter, as it is a light weight warmth without making me too warm. This is the only weight that doesn't make me sweat! It is just the right fit without being tight. I can wear a light wicking layer underneath, and I often pair it with the packable Primaloft jacket for outdoor snowy walks in central New York. I usually buy a 12 in tops, and the Large fits well for my purposes. The Twilight color is my favorite color to combat the dreary winter, but I also love my black one quite well because it goes with everything. Great tops for traveling, as they insure that you will always have a snuggly layer to add or remove easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bastian Lightweight, but runs small
I bought this as a gift in a size small for someone who usually wears small in LLBean clothing. This was tiny! It looked like it was made for a child. We had to return the item. The fiery red is a beautiful color, though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ChicagoMom08 Started off nice, but lots of pilling.
This fleece started off nice, but after a couple washes it started pilling and looking really old. I've worn it a handful of times but it mostly just hangs in my closet because I liked the color (orange) but it just doesn't measure up well against my other fleeces which still look newer even though they get much more wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by otterkey I was wrong!
A few years ago, I ordered this jacket in white. I wrote a review stating that I was disappointed in it's light weight. I kept it, and quickly learned to love it. Actually it is the perfect weight for me. I wear it the most of any jacket I own. Now I am buying one in blue and recommending it to anyone who needs a jacket for outerwear on warmer days and layering on colder ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by plunkie Would love an anorak version of this jacket.
I have many of these jackets and a couple of the quarter zip ones as well.
I would really love to have these jackets with a waist and a longer tunic length. I wear them as tops, not jackets and they would be perfect with a little shape in the waist and a length long enough to cover the back when worn with leggings and slim pants.
They are very versatile and wash and wear well. Some of mine have started to pill but I still love them since the colors are not currently available. How about some neon colors?
