Rated 4 out of 5 by FitnessCelebrity Comfortable all day, but the sole wears quickly
I have tried most every brand of slip-on moccasin and these are a great choice for everyday wear to work. Their lined interior doesn't work well if you like to wear them without socks; they are a dressier choice. But for business casual work environments they look great and I get compliments on their handsome, textured appearance.
My one disappointment is that I seem to be wearing the soles down quickly. I've had these shoes since Christmas, wear them frequently, and am already smoothing out the lugged sole. Maybe I need to stop loving them so much?

I love these shoes, with a caveat. They are gorgeous, get lots of compliments, feel great (two really bad knees), fit great, I lace them loose to slip on and off easily but doing so doesn't affect the comfort of walking, they grip on ice and snow (Denver), they are pretty much waterproof so if you do step in a puddle you won't spend the day with wet socks, the leather feels supple and forms to your feet, and the laces are tough and won't wear out. That said, the soles just don't last. I can get about 8 months out of these puppies and then have to toss them. I hate to do so because everything else about the shoe is still superb after all that time. I walk 5 - 8 miles a day (Withings Activite), mixed indoors and sidewalk, so think they should last longer. I haven't tried to get them re-soled, but maybe I will. I would recommend them, but just know that if you walk much they won't last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Duke218 great show
This will be my fifth pair. Very comfortable, I wear them almost every day and they last a little over a year. That's a lot of foot prints. I would recommend this for great casual wear.

Love these shoes, I'd buy another 2 pairs (these + the Penny Loafers) if they'd come in black.

DONT BUY THIS SHOE if you have to (or prefer to) use an in sole like Super Feet --- etc as the sole of this shoe is locked in.

Bought a pair of the Raisin 7-1/2.
Very good quality for the price.
Like them so much I purchased a second pair (Walnut) about 2 weeks later. While the color is not drastically different - I'm content with it because I now have 2 pair and I know they will last. I am hard on shoes and have spent at least 65.00 a pair for CHEAP JUNK in the department stores. Yes these are a little more expensive but I know the quality is MUCH better - even though they were still made in Vietnam. See Photos - This is how the shoe colors really look!

Rated 3 out of 5 by GeorgeLBoston Look and fit great, but tough on long walks
These Allagash look and fit great but are a bit heavy. These are tough for long walks. I like to wear sneakers and walking shoes and thought the Allagash would be good but these shoes wear me out fairly quickly and hurt my feet. If you like wearing leather dress shoes and other flat barely cushioned shoes, these would be fine for you. If you're like me and wear sneakers and walking shoes that have plenty of bounce, I don't recommend these.

I didn't know comfort until I got these shoes. They are very cushy and roomy. They are tough and can handle the abuse. I wear these everywhere. They can handle a decent amount of water too. The traction is very good too. I have even gone on hikes with these on. You need to get these shoes!!!
