Rated 5 out of 5 by SFFan Great shoes except fast wearing soles
As others have pointed out the soles are too soft. The soles of my shoes worn daily, wore completely through in a half year but the shoes were so comfortable I sprung for a Vibram re-sole job for $80 from a local shoemaker.
I am not sorry I did.
They are still the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn but now the soles are firm and TOUGH, and I have a virtual new pair of great shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLB3Poodles Very attractive looking and comfortable
They are very comfortable from day one. My feet are somewhat wider, but size 8 EE fits me perfectly. The traditional design is attractive, and the leather is beautiful in colour and grain. Excellent!

Rated 2 out of 5 by nocodlb nice upper, but sole wears out too quickly
I wear these mainly during the day at a desk job, with very little walking. I drive 90 minutes a day, 5 days a week. The outer rear heal of the right shoe is worn to nearly a 45 degree angle--just from the carpet mat of the car--just from the rocking action of exercising the gas pedal and brake pedal. The leather is fantastic looking and great wearing. But the soles are too soft wearing out with light use within a year. So only buy this shoe if you don't mind replacing them every year.
Also note the length runs long. I normally wear a 10 1/2 or sometimes an 11, and I had to order a 10 in these shoes. Width seems to be normal sizing.

The sole lasted only 6 months before it was nearly gone. Would not buy shoe until the sole is changed. Probably should have returned them for a refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FitnessCelebrity Comfortable all day, but the sole wears quickly
I have tried most every brand of slip-on moccasin and these are a great choice for everyday wear to work. Their lined interior doesn't work well if you like to wear them without socks; they are a dressier choice. But for business casual work environments they look great and I get compliments on their handsome, textured appearance.
My one disappointment is that I seem to be wearing the soles down quickly. I've had these shoes since Christmas, wear them frequently, and am already smoothing out the lugged sole. Maybe I need to stop loving them so much?

I love these shoes, with a caveat. They are gorgeous, get lots of compliments, feel great (two really bad knees), fit great, I lace them loose to slip on and off easily but doing so doesn't affect the comfort of walking, they grip on ice and snow (Denver), they are pretty much waterproof so if you do step in a puddle you won't spend the day with wet socks, the leather feels supple and forms to your feet, and the laces are tough and won't wear out. That said, the soles just don't last. I can get about 8 months out of these puppies and then have to toss them. I hate to do so because everything else about the shoe is still superb after all that time. I walk 5 - 8 miles a day (Withings Activite), mixed indoors and sidewalk, so think they should last longer. I haven't tried to get them re-soled, but maybe I will. I would recommend them, but just know that if you walk much they won't last.

This will be my fifth pair. Very comfortable, I wear them almost every day and they last a little over a year. That's a lot of foot prints. I would recommend this for great casual wear.

Love these shoes, I'd buy another 2 pairs (these + the Penny Loafers) if they'd come in black.

DONT BUY THIS SHOE if you have to (or prefer to) use an in sole like Super Feet --- etc as the sole of this shoe is locked in.
