They are "low profile" and don't feel bulky. I would forget I have them on expect for the fact that my toes stay nice and warm. They also last beyond the stated 6 hours. February 15, 2012

Waited longer then broke into another pack thinking the first was defective. After 20-30 min there was slight warmth from the first pack but not much and it never got any warmer. Other brands are toasty warm in 5. Good thing I didn't break these out for the first time in the high peaks on a cold day! February 8, 2012

Fortunately a friend had a batch of another brand so we didn't get our feet too cold, but won't buy toe warmers from LL Bean again. January 25, 2012
