I really love this jacket. My son doesn't like the pockets. He wishes they were bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kalgary Oh so soft and warm
My son wears this hoodie EVERY day. He loves the soft interior and the blue camo exterior. He wears it to school and under his ski jacket on the hill. He wears it when he gets up in the morning to warm up in our cool house. We have just ordered another one for the spring as he has worn out the cuffs from the one we ordered just this last fall. He has half a dozen other hoodies to chose from at home, but this is his fav.

Nice & warm, only wish hood would feature a way to close the hood to avoid cool air from coming in. It also had lots of loose threads that had not been cut off @point of origin. Beside that I love this Hoodie.

My son has been wearing this jacket for 3-4 yrs now and it's still going!! It's his FAVORITE jacket because he says "it's SOOOO SOFT". He's 8 yrs old so this jacket has seen a lot of rough use and has held up well. He will need a bigger size next year but the 6-7x size lasted us a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by upstateabba Well-made, wide fit
I purchased this for my slim granddaughter because she doesn't like "girly" colors. It is very well-made and the Mountain Red color is very attractive. However, I am returning it because, unlike other LLBean fleece-lined hoodies she has had in the past (and still wears), this one was just too wide for her. It would probably work well for children with a medium or even slightly heavy build.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnieOH super soft & warm... fleece-lined camp hoodie
Was surprised at how weighty warm & nice this is. It is very warm & very, very, very soft inside. VERY soft inside. Outside is sweatshirt material.
Purchased the orange which has a light tan colored "silky-soft furry" lining. The orange is not as bright as I'd like it to be, more like a typical sweatshirt color. This color would look great on blondes & red-heads.
It is a bit roomy for slender builds.
I LOVE the bright blue & dark navy color LL Bean carries. They are usually the colors I buy for the "boys" big & small in my house.
Made well in China. If manufactured with quality in USA, would be happier.
Would buy this again. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pecksniff So sad to return fleece-lined camp hoodie
This hoodie, size 14-16 was my grandson's 3rd one. His first was S8,2nd one size 10-12. He loved them so and wore them until they were too small and too worn to be passed down to younger brother. Now he is a thin, gangly teen-ager-long legs and long arms, and the arms on the 14-16 were too short for him. But I still buy them for his brother and also for my granddaughter. They are the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nain Still good after 2 years of wear
This hoodie was purchased 2 years ago for 4 year old. Soft inside, durable outside and warm [Virginia winter climate, not New England]. Size ran large enough that it still fits well enough for him to continue wearing. Cuffs were rolled up at first. Unless Bean has changed manufacturers, this is worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by travellllller Length runs a bit short-pockets too small
My son LOVES this coat because of the fluffy liner and warmth. We ordered the largest size that they make- which I believe is an 18. (he is wearing it at school right now so I can't check the tag) and it fit perfectly other than the length of the jacket being a bit short. He chose to keep it even though it wasn't as long as other sweat jackets that he has, because it was "thick and warm and cozy." His only complaints have been that the pockets are too small and the coat is a bit short. His hands are not covered when he puts his hands into the pockets- they are truly the smallest pockets I have ever seen on a coat. I wish they would add on at least another inch or two so that the bottom of the coat wasn't up around the top of his waistline. If he has another growth spurt it is going to look a bit odd because of it being such a short jacket. I also wish that they would make it in sizes even larger for pre-teens because the next sizes in LL BEAN merchandise means you are into the men's sizes and they are too large in the arms and length. Thick- warm- cozy- yep, that about sums it up.

My sons love these sweatshirts in the solid colors. They are favorites, so soft and warm. My older son wants to wear his every day to school, I have to sneak it away to wash it! He wants one in another color.
I like the vintage looking stitching. They seem true to size and stand up to many washes.
