However, I will send back another one which I ordered two sweaters.
I will send some day this week and I hope to get exchange one if size M is good for me.

This is the second Classic Ragg Wool Sweater, Full-Zip I have purchased. A year ago I bought a charcoal sweater and a few weeks ago the red and black sweater. These sweaters are all wool, of the highest quality, warn, and comfortable for wearing around the house or under a heavy coat when going outside in frigid weather. I highly recommend the sweater.

My husband loves his new sweater and wears it most days to keep warm during this very cold winter.

This is a terrific sweater for even a fussy wearer with enough room to pull over layers and enough fit to look nice with slacks or jeans. The sweatshirt-style pockets don't match the rest of the sweater but they don't get in the way, either. Lovely colors, too.

I bought this sweater in charcoal primarily to wear around the house in the winter. Since I'm mainly in my home office most of the day, I don't like heating the whole house. Compared to a pullover wool or fleece sweater, this has a convenient zipper that can be opened when the temperature rises; even in 68+ degree settings the sweater isn't too warm unzipped. The hand-warmer pockets are also a big advantage. Whenever my hands start getting cold, I just stuff them into the toasty side-slit pockets, which are kept warm by body heat. I'm 6'1"/235, so usually I buy upper body clothing in size XXL Tall. But I bought this sweater in XL Tall for a snugger fit and to avoid the sleeves being too long, and it fits perfectly. The medium-weight wool is very soft. I've worn it over short sleeve shirts with no discomfort or itching. My only complaint is that the knit, stand-up collar rises to a peak at the ends where the zipper is attached and sometimes pokes me in the neck or chin. A tapered or rounded collar end would be more comfortable.

I wore it the other night under my leather jacket, not an L. L. Bean leather jacket, at a football game and it was 40 degrees and I didn't even notice the cold. Perfectly toasty standing there selling tickets for two hours.

When I wore my new L L Bean full-zip Ragg Wool sweater to a performance at our local symphony hall (with a white shirt and tie) a friend stopped me to say I looked great and where did I get that sweater. She said she looked forward to seeing me wear it next morning in church! I'd say that makes it a 'keeper.'

Being familiar with "Ragg Sweaters" I assumed that this one would be of a substantial weight for winter... not bulky, but not this lightweight. My husband and I are both disappointed. The zipper sticks, the neckband not high enough. Lined version would have been better!

I bought one of these from LLBean last year after looking for a full-zip wool sweater with pockets for years. I got the oatmeal and wore it all winter, then pulled it out as my staple layer as soon as the temperature cooled down this year. I have been watching the on-line catalog and just received the deep balsam today. I am a 5'6" woman who goes for comfort and utility and this sweater is just right for me. I got the large regular and roll up the sleeves a bit,or let them cover my palms if it is really chilly. The one that arrived today is the same as the one from last year, same size and style, so thankful that nothing changed. I like the heather appearance of the green. For someone sensitive to wool this sweater might be a little scratchy, but I wear it with short sleeves all the time and it is fine for me. It comes down to my lower hip, which I prefer. The sweater I bought last year has minimal evidence of pilling. I admit to loving the cold weather and tending to be warm rather than cold. The cardigan style lets me adjust my layers more easily by just opening or closing the zipper. I can wear it comfortably under my rain parka, and occasionally with a fleece vest underneath if it is really chilly out. A heavier or lined sweater would not let me adjust my layers as easily. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quality sweater at a reasonable price. Considering the like-new condition of the sweater that I have already worn for a long winter season, I expect that both of these will last for years to come.
