I received my Quickload Travel Pack just days before I departed on a 14 day business trip to China. The pack was a lifessaver for everything I wanted to bring on the plane. The ability to quickly convert from a "pack" to a carry bag proved very handy, the numerous pockets allowed me to be very organized and the genrous sized bag carried everything I wanted. Although larger than most packs it was within the carry on limits and easily fit in the overhead compartment! A must have for any traveller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chikago A nice looking and versatile pack
Great pack for carry-on or short stay trips - actually holds a fair amount of items and allows you to use the compartments to separate items. My first one had a problem with one of the zippers, but LL Bean sent me a replacement and it works great. The other benefit this pack gives you is 3 ways to carry it - back pack, shoulder pack, or like a suit case. I have also received several compliments on it's appearance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ColoDaisie Neither a backpack nor suitcase
Other reviewers love this pack, but I did not. This may be due to my small height and girth, but it was very bulky and awkward for me. It mght work fine for a much larger person. I used it for a 3-day air trip and found it was not really good at anything. The shoulder carry strap will not adujst short enough for me so the bag bangs on my legs. The backpack straps also have minimal adjustment. If the shoulder straps are exposed and you need to switch to handle-carry mode briefly, you are going to trip on the ends of the straps (ouch), so it requires a stop to store them every time. It holds more than I need for 3 days, but the external compression feature did not allow me to cinch it down flatter, as I wanted to. The only pockets are the 2 flat ones on the front face. I will return this and stick with the rolling duffel which is nearly the same size and which I have used a lot and like very much -- easier to schlep around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ilovespanky Love this bag!!!!
We flew intn'l recently and didn't want to check any luggage. The carry-on weight limit was 7 kg. This bag was absolutely perfect in every way. It's the lightest weight bag I found but very sturdy. The tie down straps both inside and out help keep the contents from bunching up at the bottom of the bag when upright. We only took the backpack straps and they were very comfy. It was also just as easy to carry with either the top or the side handle. Enough zippered pockets to put the smaller extras into. Fit great in all the overhead bins that we used. It will now be the only carry-on bag I use for wherever I go - domestic or intn'l.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Buyitgirl83 Great for 10 day trips
Was able to pack 10 days worth plus for ski trip. Rolled everything jackets pants socks under armour etc. Only downside is no waist strap (makes it seem a bit bulky/awkward) Other then that great trip bag, lots of space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by docjoe12 Perfect for my needs.
I do a lot of 4 day week ends, or 3 day work related trips, and hate to check luggage. I love this bag. It is easy to pack, fits everything I need for a long weekend trip including my lap top and its protective sleeve, and keeps things in their place in the bag. I am well past entering Medicare age and I find the bag comfortable to carry and easy to maneuver. It has become my one favorite piece of luggage. My wife, who does frequent 2-3 day trips, loves it too.

I needed a soft sided bag to take with me on a sailing trip. I was thinking about a duffel bag, but when I saw Quickload Travel Pack, it looked more practical so I bought it. I was very pleased when it arrived. It is not only practical, it is a beautiful piece of design. Pleasure to have it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NCsand Best suitcase buy I've ever made.
I've traveled on 16 flights (8 international) and easily placed it in the overhead bins of very small and very large commercial aircraft. I've used it as my only suitcase for 2 weeks of international travel with room for purchases while traveling. I've used it frequently for automobile travel. I highly recommend this flexible and durable suitcase. For long walks in the airport I use the back straps. The top handle is great for walking down narrow aisles on board.

Rated 4 out of 5 by loyalcustomer99 Works as carry on for Aer Lingus
My heavier Ebag Weekender both looked larger and felt heavier. This worked well, kept me below the required weight, and was easy to pack with cubes. I did not find the "hard to get into" front zip pocket a deal breaker and used it for travel papers I wouldn't need in transit. Zips solid. Cinching straps helped keep it low profile and the contents from shifting.

julieplaid Great for rambling!
3 weeks in the UK with only public transport was great with this bag. We bought 2, green, and navy and used only these 2 bags for our whole trip. Started out at 20 lbs, ended at 33 lbs after souvenirs. We left the shoulder strap at home, tucked in the back back straps for the overhead plane bins, and could have REALLY used chest straps and/or a waist belt! The front organizer panel is useless, esp when the bag is full, but it is very sturdy and rugged!
