Rated 5 out of 5 by BobbyShades Nice sun glasses
I bought the sunglasses after losing another pair. This time I put a a string tie on them. I paid almost $100.00 for the glasses. The LLBean review request shows the glasses are now priced at $45.00. So buy them now. I wish LLBean would give me a rebate on the price difference. But Christmas comes but once a year.
Again good glasses. I bought the amber for night driving and the bifocal for dash board instrument reading.

I have had a couple of pairs of these as my vision has changed. I wear them everyday even while driving. The reading lens is low enough to not interfer while driving. I did go to a LL Bean store first to try them on an left with my first pair that was about 5years ago. I have a co-work who also had a pair an she is very happy with hers. I showed her mine.

These are advertised as "large" sunglasses. I had to return them since they are so small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PatrickinConn Exactly what I wanted
I managed to lose my last pair. These are exactly what I want, and the bifocal element allows me to not switch to cheaters ? except when it's getting dark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Arapahoe excellent optical quality
This is a great price/value combination. The optical quality is excellent at this price point. Long range lenses are unblemished and the reading lenses are unobtrusive and very functional.

OMG! These sunglasses are so convenient. I can actually read in the sun now! It is so nice not having to switch from my sunglasses to my reading glasses just to read a text message or set the GPS. I highly recommend them. They are well worth the money. So very comfortable too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jmengper Don't last
Had them for about three years, and am gentle on equipment. First, the case hinge snapped--no big deal, but then the rubber temple parts started slipping off. Tried gluing them back on but the rubber just broke and the glasses are useless. Wouldn't recommend them. I've had $15 department store glasses last longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 Lenses may pop out but...
They're only a hundred bucks and LL Bean will gladly, easily and quickly return them should they fail. I like mine. I have a couple pair of amber and a couple in the gray lens. Great optics and I love / need the magnification these days.
I fish with them, boat with them, ride my motorcycle and drive with them. Buy them you cannot go wrong.

bought this pair to replace a 3 year old pair I lost in the woods. great fit, and the rubber nose and ear pads make sure they stay up when you get sweaty. recommended to my wife and bro-in-law. we all swear by them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EJ Good But Needs Improvement
I am currently on my second pair of these glasses. The first pair was replaced free of charge by LL Bean because the plastic finish was peeling off. Like the first pair, the rubber nose guards on the second pair have torn and fallen off. I recommend that they do away with the rubber pieces all together and make the nose piece out of the same material as the rest of the frame. Otherwise, optics are great and I love the readers, especially when on the water trying to read a GPS and tie fishing knots.
