I needed a good pair of driving glasses and these really fit the bill. The size M is perfect, and the frames have those flexible sides so they stay as comfortable as when I put them on. And with the bifocal lenses, now I can read out in the sun!

The tinted polarized lenses work well and make colors rich. I don't wear glasses except to read, and first used these bifocals on a steep rip-rap lake shore, so seeing proper depth of field and perspective on the rocks was tricky. Glasses come in hard case, which is good to protect them, but the case is huge and not at all portable in a tackle box or glove box in the car. I would like to see a small soft and fuzzy cloth case perhaps with an outer tough canvas (to prevent scaratching of lenses) and a belt loop. The bifocals worked well for tying fishing knots. Would like to see gasses of shaterproof material so they could also be used for shooting.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Trip81 Best Sunglasses Ever
I own three pairs of LL Beans's Polarized Performance Bifocals. Bifocal sunglasses are hard to find with polarized lenses and proper wrap around fit. I get migraines, so dark sunglasses are a must and the curvature of these sunglasses also provide darkness at the edges of my face which is a must. I hope LL Bean never discontinues these sunglasses, because they are perfect to meet my outdoor needs.

I don' remember how I ever came upon these but I am sure glad I did. I've owned a pair for 5 plus years. The tortoise shell frame is very flattering, stylish yet practical. With these glasses I never have problems reading any small print and can be used to read at the beach. The magnifying lens has never interfered with other activities. I love them so much I've given them as gifts to at least 3 people. The recipients love them too.

Purchased these glasses for outdoor activities (bicycling, hiking, walking, running, camping/backpacking). They were not made for this!! Nose pads fell of easily and had to be glued on but still came off and were lost. Rubber ear piece tip came off and would not stay on when replaced. Ultimately, the lenses started popping out of the frame. Now they're in the trash. For the money paid, these sunglasses are not for an active life style use but would be okay for driving and casual wear if carefully (underline carefully) taken care of.

Rated 4 out of 5áby dpackdaddy nice look and good fit
Overall I'm happy with the glasses. The polarized lens does a good job of eliminating glare and reducing eye fatigue under bright sun against a snowy landscape. The bifocal lens is unobtrusive and provides great convenience when close up vision becomes a necessity. A nice addition would be a rubber nose guard for enhanced fit and comfort.

Rated 4 out of 5áby BoomerTravaler Good for the price
This is my second pair of these sunglasses. My first pair served me well until the lenses started to DE-laminate and one of the temples just broke in half.(I have no expectation of any product lasting a "lifetime") I originally had prescription sunglasses for $500 but it is not worth it. Better to go with something like these. For the price charged, they are good. Dark enough for bright sun, Wrap around for good coverage, and the magnification from the "readers" is essential for those that need that.
