Light weight, tightly woven, great color (navy), the large fits me well -- I'm 5'11" and 184 lbs., 44 chest, 36 waist. Plenty of room to make it warmer this fall and winter with some long underwear. My wife finds it kind of elegant.

The shirt is ok- it's thin material. Unless you are partridge hunting south of Ogunquit it won't be warm enough. The arm patches are decorative only- not functional for keeping burrs off your shirt. If you have to be in a play and need to look like a hunter this shirt is for you. If you are actually going bird hunting in the fall you may want to pick up one of Bean's fleece lined flannel shirts.

This is a well made, heavy shirt. I was comfortable with just this shirt, a t-shirt and upland vest in high 30/low 40 degree weather (moving). It is a little bigger than I expected.

Shirt fit exactly, not too big or too small. Excellent quality as usual from LLBean. Purchased in another color after wearing this on several times. No shrinkage after washing and drying.

Like this shirt. Is a little large but that's a good thing as you can wear layers under it. Haven't shot or hunted with it yet but just by wearing it around I know it'll be great. Very versatile as it doesn't look too hunter so you can wear it to work-which I have. Seems like pretty good material as well not too heavy for warmer day hunts which we have plenty of here. Also the arm swing feels more than ample so it shouldn't get in the way while swinging the 12ga. on targets/birds

I bought one and liked it so I bought 2 more. A button fell off of each one after the first washing. I do love the material, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KWfromVIRGINIA Great shirt for Safari. QUIET! Good color.
Purchase one of these shirt August 2012 prior to traveling to Namibia in September 2012 on safari. It was my first trip to Africa and I'd heard that excessive amounts of camo attire are discouraged. Purchased shirt in Dune Brown and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Color blends in well and is absolutely quiet after the first washing. (No rustling at all.) Fabric weight is right for hot days and cool mornings and evenings. Still wearing shirt regularly on casual occasions and for upland hunting in warmer weather. The ONLY issue has been that I've had to sew buttons back on a couple of times.

I bought this as a gift and it works well. The green color is a little browner than I expected, but still good-looking. Happy with it!

I bought one in blue about 5 years ago. I've worn it hunting, thru the bush, and at work. It's lost a cuff button recently but otherwise is in fine shape. I recently bought one in loden and love it, and figured I better get a new blue one.
Solid material, nice contrasting patches in the sleeves & collar, and it comes out of the dryer looking good. Wish it was stitched for a pen in the chest pocket but really can't argue about a thing!

This shirt is great! The quality is excellent. My only complaint would be that it runs a little on the large side.
