Rode 20 miles last night in 40 degree weather and they kept me comfortable. The great thing is I didn't overheat. XL sizing is just right.

I bought these for my husband and he wears them all the time. He's been comfortable in temperatures 15 - 50 degrees and wears them for bike riding and walking. They've kept him dry in light rain. The fit and look are comfortable, not too tight. I read reviews complaining about the length, which worried me because my husband is only 5'4", but the small fit just fine.

Great tights for active running, biking or x-country skiing in cold, wet weather. They fit well and the articulated panels make them extremely comfortable. On my daily 10 mile bicycle commute in single digit temperatures and the wind of Chicago's lakefront, the wind blocking panels in front and the breathable fabric in back keep me both warm and dry with just a single light-weight base layer. I plan on buying a couple more pairs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RUNNER Best When it's Really Cold
I first tried these pants (they're not really tights) on a 6-mile run with temps in the 30's. Too warm! Another run in the teens and wind-chill in the single digits-- perfect! Kept me comfortable, the warmth in and the wind out. Reflective piping helps confer visibility in the dark. One change I recommend: a fly front would be useful on long cold runs, or an all-day ski.

Rated 3 out of 5 by youngplayer looks good, feels good but lacks few.
I bought it for soccer practice in winter after reading the reviews. After using it, i find the back side of the tight very thin (stretch it u could see through) and during slide tackling water gets in very easily. cold wind is problem for u'r buttocks. Front side is excellent. only the back side is what i don't like. i feel the price is too high.

These pants are warm and work well on a bicycle. The only draw back is that there are many seams which tend to dig into the skin when riding many miles as I do. For the casual rider it is no big deal.
I did find that the way they are cut helps keep them tight to my legs which eleminated the need for ankle biters (bands that keep the pant leg from getting into the gears).
There is a good deal of reflector material on the seams.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Perambulator Superb Winter Tights
As a septuagenarian who takes a 3.5 mile hill-climbing walk every morning at 6:45 AM, I have found these tights perfect in the temperature range from 10 degrees to freezing! Best winter tights I've ever found - comfortable, warm, flexible, easy on & off.

Love these tights. Wear them XC skiing, running and even on the bike in the winter. Fit great! Don't seem to overheat in these either. I love them.
