Engraving
Add an engraved monogram to an L.L.Bean product to make it uniquely your own. Or make a special gift even more personal with your choice of four engraving styles for just $8. Please note that engraving may add processing time to your order. We'll notify you of the expected delivery time during checkout.
Engraving is not a free service to L.L.Bean Mastercard members. Engraving charges may be higher on certain items, such as toboggans and pull sleds, which include a separate plaque in the cost of personalization.
Alterations
Alterations (on finished garments) can be made for a small fee and are available by phone only. Contact us for more information on specific alteration requests.

Gift Message
You can add a personal message that will appear on the order's packing slip. Gift messages are free, and you can send one for each address in your order.
For each gift recipient, click the "Add a free gift message" checkbox on the Shipping Information screen (at the bottom of the shipping address form) and enter a personal message of up to three lines of 30 characters each. Note that gift messages will not display accent marks and non-Roman characters. If you reach the Review and Place Order screen and wish to go back and add a gift message, click the "Edit" link next to the recipient's shipping address and follow the steps above.
Wish Lists
When you create a Wish List, you can easily keep track of products you're interested in – whether you're planning to buy them later, creating a list of holiday or birthday must-haves or simply making sure you don't forget special finds. To create a Wish List, you must have an llbean.com account.
Adding Items to Your Wish List
If you see a product you'd like to add to your wish list, just click the "Add to Wish List" button on the product page (below "Add to Bag").
Managing Your Wish List
When you visit your Wish List, you'll see all the items you've added, starting with the most recent.
If you'd like to purchase one of the items on your Wish List, click the "Move to Bag" button. This will add the item to your Shopping Bag and remove it from your Wish List.
If you'd simply like to remove an item from your Wish List, click the "Remove Item" link next to it. You can also remove all items from your Wish List by clicking "Remove all items" at the bottom of the list.
