I would not choose any other type of mat for any situation where a mat is needed. They are effective and good-looking and come in a variety of styles and colors. I think this is my sixth, and certainly not my last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jerbly great solution to our problem hallway entrance!
as expected and anticipated, a great product - color was right on. One side benefit I did not expect - the waffle texture feels like a foot massage when one walks barefoot on the rug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tanager2014 Great Mat for Our Needs
This mat worked out very well. We were having a hard time finding one that was the right size for our space. It was great that we were able to pick from many widths and lengths. It arrived much more quickly than was predicted . It appears to be of very good quality and I believe that it will last us for a very long time.
The one complaint my husband had is that it is quite hard and therefore the bumps on the mat hurt a bit on your feet if you walk on them in bare feet. Fortunately we don't walk in this area in bare feet very often but that would be something to consider depending upon where you intend to use the mat.
Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Love this product and highly recommend it. We have it in our mud room where everyone either comes in from the garage or the side door. High traffic area and this mat definitely does its job especially on dirty/wet dog feet.

It is impervious even to my cats using it as a scratching mat.

Agonized over the color of this Waterhog Mat for a few months; (red-was it too orangie?) When spring came, (read:mud) I ordered it anyway. It arrived quickly, laid flat on the floor immediately (even though it came rolled up) is a nice true red (but not a dark cranberry red) and really brightens the room! I decided to buy new curtains to go with it! Dried mud vacuums up easily, but I haven't had to wash the rug yet. I like it-really glad I got it! Another good "Beaner" purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ctresident Just what I wanted!
We recently downsized to a ranch house and needed floor protectors for several areas. I ordered one to see if I liked it and then ordered two more. They are attractive, comfortable to stand on and do a great job keeping dirt off the floors. I have not had them long enough to test whether or not they harm wooden floors beneath them but judging from other comments they do not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JDJr Waterhog is just right
We needed a competent mat to take on a troublesome area near our front entry. Other mats were tried and discarded. The Waterhog mat, and we purchased two of them, have done just what we needed. Sturdy construction, not bad looking, and holding up to the worst spring mud that boots and Golden Retriever paws can throw at them. We are pleased with the purchase. Should have bought them earlier this winter. Could have used them then!

Rated 5 out of 5 by loghomelady Saved the (Rainy) Day!
I already have seven Waterhog door mats and a large dog bowl Waterhog mat. They are excellent at keeping my floors as clean as possible. During this year's rainy January & February, we and our young German Shepherd puppy had to be in and out, in and out, many times a day and night. Our elderly dog needed frequent trips out, too, all the trips into a rainy, muddy dog yard. Even with a Waterhog outside the doggie door, and one inside the door, too much mud was being tracked onto a wool hooked rug in the mud room, and on into the kitchen, the wood floors and eventually the carpeted bedrooms Thus, I looked at the Everyspace mat/rug as a slightly less expensive alternative to a 3'9" X 5' Waterhog rug for the mudroom.
The large rug is softer and more flexible than a Waterhog, and has a somewhat lower pile, making it a little easier to vacuum. So far I feel it has done its job well, lays down and doesn't curl, and doesn't shift around. Time will tell how it handles foxtails and dry grass. The regular, durable Waterhog mats hold onto them with an iron grip. If you have dogs, mud, sand, etc., then these Everyspace rugs are an excellent investment which should be easy to clean, today with a vacuum cleaner, then later in the year by hosing off in the driveway.
