We have this in the entry way to our house - it's perfect. There are enough colors that it just looks really nice and shows no dirt. I love the material - it's very sturdy and I love that it's not a carpet (my cats, shoes, etc. do not really tear it up like a carpet). It's very pleasing and we love it & other people that come to our house love it.

I had to return the waffle weave rug because my dogs' nails made pulls in the loops almost immediately. This rug was then suggested by the wonderful sales people at my local store. Other reviewers are correct when they say the colors are much darker in person. However, it works for my home. I had to use some carpet tacks instead of the nonstick pads, again because of dog traffic. Now it stays put and all is well. Love it!

The colors are more vibrant than reflected in the catalog, and the rug blends beautifully with my newly-painted kitchen. It is perfect for my side entry way, is durable and easy to clean, and will work well for messy MN winters. Even my "love to decorate" girlfriend said "great rug!" Love it!

I ordered this rug for a high traffic area. I normally would not spend so much for a runner, but since it is LL Bean and I wanted a USA made rug, I thought it was worth it. First, the colors do not blend as shown in the photo. There is black, brown, and white, a bit bold in contrast but it didn't clash too bad with the hall so I could overlook this. Second, within a month one corner where the rug ends started to separate and fray. It has been several months and this area is still intact, but more frayed. I have had a few other runners in this same area which lasted years, for much less money. It has been less than one year with this runner, and the fibers look frayed and fuzzy. It looks old. I would consider turning it over, but there is a large tag sewn into the back that I'd have to cut off. I'd rather just see if LL Bean will return it, because I don't foresee the opposite side wearing any better.

We had previously bought an oval rug from Bean and are very happy with it. This rectangular rug is a disappointment. The stitching connecting the braids is rough and obvious instead of hidden. The shape is irregular, not rectangular. The pattern and colors create a psychedelic image that makes you dizzy.

Siouxzq All Weather Braided Rug
Ordered one to make sure we would like it i the kitchen. Ordered the second also for the kitchen and am now going to order a third for our front entry. We don't have a mud room. The rug will be great in the winter when we are bring all sorts of nasty stuff inside from our Minnesota weather. Got the sandstone and it looks great with the wood floors in the kitchen. Doesn't get sucked up in the vacuum. woohoo!!

I got a brown rectangular and an oval in claret. Color is as described. Well made. Have not had them long enough to comment on wear or give an informed rating. Using in entry and at bottom of steps. Value is good as compared to the very few other places that have similar rugs.

Looks great. Excellent quality. Made in USA! Received quickly. Wearing like iron, have it on the hardwood floors in my kitchen in front of sink. Spills wipe right off, crumbs shake out easily, or can be vacuumed. We live on a farm, with people and dogs in and out, put it to hard use and this rug can take it!

Bought one for our cottage and it is great. We use it in the office area and chairs roll on them well. Liked the 5x8 so much we are also buying a 3x5 a few months later. Love the versatility, durability and washing with a hose! Seem to stay together better than some of the other woven rugs we have gotten from LL Bean.
Re: the color complaints please remember that the color on a computer monitor depends on the quality and processing of your monitor. Color on my monitor closely resembles what I have at home but I know others have experienced differently.
Shall see what happens when the 3x5 arrives.

Just received my long-researched and agonized-over 3'x5' and runner rugs and was so disappointed - there is no green at all in the sandstone color. I had checked on multiple monitors to assess whether there was a nice green running throughout along the brown and white. Really needed the green to pull rugs into my decor. They're going to have to go back. :(
