I've worn these pants for years and they have been perfect. However, a couple of years ago LL Bean quit handling them in 36 inch length. I;m 6'3" with a 36 inch inseam. I tried a pair of 34's and they are just too short. I would buy several pairs if Bean would go back to that length. I'm sure they are at the mercy of their provider, but I know I'm not the only tall person who likes these pants. Come on LL bean. I'm not your only tall customer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stanrf Bad design of Front Cargo Pocket Flap
The front cargo pockets flaps are SEWN at each end and that makes it extremely difficult to insert your hand into the pocket. I expect the ends were sewn to eliminate the occasional lifting of the flap ends. I cut the rear sewn end, folded it to avoid the material flaring and sewed the folded flap.
The result is my hand can now more easily enter the pocket.
The correct solution is to avoid the sewn ends and place a piece of velcro at the end of each pocket flap and eliminate the velcro in the middle of the flap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LovesRotties Casual pants, look nicer than jeans but more comfy
I purchased these pants in Canyon Khaki for my husband who is very picky about clothes but hates to shop. He loves them so much I ordered a pair in Basil and will probably be back for more colors. The look of the pants is a tad nicer than jeans but more casual than dress chinos. They are also more comfortable for him than jeans because of the soft fabric. I carefully took his measurements before ordering and the size (36/30) recommended by the chart fit perfectly.

i have issues with pants - i am a gentleman of generous circumference, and i spend most of my time in a wheelchair. thus, it is challenging to find trousers (or pants) that look snappy, that fit, and that don't cause welts to form on my substantial belly parts. these pants meet these requirements perfectly. best of all, thanks to the "comfort waist" i don't need a belt (the buckle of which is the culprit in the welt-causing). can i say i am very satisfied? yes. yes, i can. thanks, leon!

Rated 3 out of 5 by sbwaters No cargo pockets, please
I like the pants but the cargo pockets are clunky and unwieldy. Actually, the side cargo pockets are where, after repeated washings, the fabric breaks down,
I'd pay extra not to have the side cargo pockets.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BrianBlade Not really comfort fit
I do like them but they are not typical comfort fit. My wife and I had difficulty finding the stretch panels and they don't really stretch. They are nice pants but they do not fit as I expected them to.

I own a dozen or more pairs of these pants, in different colors that have been offered over the last few years. Very comfortable, wears well, looks good, lower leg pocket is great for wallet. I have spent more for pants, but I haven't gotten more, and I always come back to these.

All cotton, so comfortable right away. Designed for hiking
(with side cargo pockets on the legs), they also work for casual everyday use since the pockets aren't obtrusive. Comfortable, well fitting, and also appear to be well-made. I have several pair of the shorts, so I tried these and I'm glad I did. Ideal for warm, humid conditions.

Pants are ok. Can wear without ironing. Don't really like the "Buffet Waist". It makes you look too frumpy. Would like them better if they were no-iron.
