But the Labels are ITCHY ITCHY -- absolutely can't wear this shirt if the labels are still on it. I had to remove them stitch by stitch, using my Swiss Army Knife mini-scissors and even then I managed to cut a small hole into the fabric (luckily it was on the double placket on the back, so I mended it).
Shrinks a little when washed and the placket curls. Too lazy to iron-- I will air dry these shirts next time I wash them

Was hesitant to order this shirt from LL Bean, reviews were good but not convincing. I live in Florida and wondered whether it was a good idea to order seersucker for year around use from a Maine company. Glad I pulled the trigger.
Nice shirt, well made simple classic design. Have washed and worn it twice now. Doesn't need ironing, collars, ends and button plackets do not curl. Minor wrinkles which the pinstripe seersucker pattern hides. Don't like the straight starched look anyway, I wear the shirt with jeans, khakis, whatever, either tucked in or hanging out casual, though the tails on this shirt are fairly long and meant to be tucked in. Soft blue pinstripe pattern, nice cool seersucker feel. Will get lots of use out of this shirt, great for summer travel. Price was also right. Recommend. First time from LL Bean and will buy again.

I've worn one of these for a few years and this droughty summer I've bought two more. They're good for casual wear and chores, too. Keeps the California sun off my 70 year old N. Europe fair skin without severe overheating. Dirt washes out well. No ironing needed in my opinion. I buy one size up. There is shrinkage if I use the dryer on low heat. Quite "serviceable".

Going back and looking at the description, I find I was in error. Nowhere does LL Bean state 'wrinkle free, little or no ironing' or any such statement. It was my own assumption that led me to read in something that wasn't there.
My apologies to all.
Nice shirt but does need to be ironed.

Your seersucker shirts are one of my favorites. I have 5. Comfortable and great travel shirt. Easy to wash and dry overnight in a hotel room. That's why they should be available year round and the white is an awesome addition.
But why oh why aren't there more of the all white long sleeve? Can't we back order them?

Good looking shirts before they were washed. After washing per instructions the sleeves shrank about 1.5 inches, too much for me. I like LL Bean and will continue shopping there but I'll have to be a little more cautious about buying in the future.

I enjoy wearing my salmon-colored seersucker checkered shirt.
If it were currently available in blue, I would buy one in that color, too.

I love these shirts. They're the all-round best shirts that I own -- comfortable and attractive, and they generally require no ironing at all. They're great for casual wear, or I can wear them with a suit and tie. If the shirt came in a white-on-white, I'd even wear it for my court appearances as an appellate lawyer.

The color aqua blue appears more blue on the web site than actual. The actual color is pale green. Not happy about that.
The quality appears good but the not happy that the website color misled me

Bought two shirts at the same time, this and the seersucker stripe. Both "traditional fit." So, why does the stripe fit just fine, but this one is more than an inch too short in the sleeves? One of the things LLB does well is standard size--stuff the same size always fits the same way. Bummer, too--I really liked the color.
