This is a great shirt! Tunics are always wonderful because of their coverage, but this one is even more flattering. The cloth is substantial, yet soft. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by valverde Love how they fits.
I have 5 of these tunics, I use them with the perfect fit pants and love how they look, but the last two I've ordered, both large regular, are not the same, one of them is tight, the other one is perfect. When I measure them there's about one inch difference (wide) I've ordered another in the same size hoping it's not as narrow as the other. I find frustrating the variances in sizes in L.L.Bean when they supposed to be exactly the same.
Other than that I LOVE Them

Rated 5 out of 5 by irene124 A great three-season shirt
At 5?5? and 109# I?ve always bought this shirt in Medium for the length. I own 27 of these shirts and love them but they cannot be thrown into the laundry without attention if you want the shirt to even approximate a tunic. I?ve found that whether they are put into the dryer or not they shrink. I wash mine in cold water and hang them immediately. I tug slightly on the wet body of the shirt (it stretches the fibers of the body), hang it and, when it dries it does so without any wrinkles. Once dry, I throw it into the dryer for a few minutes just to ?soften? it. I?ve been able to maintain most of the original length.
If you?re really looking for a tunic this isn?t one at ?below the hip?. On one occasion a friend and I got stuck in the rain and, drenched, I took off my top and hung it to dry. I planned to launder it when I got home but I didn?t want to just throw it into the dryer while it was so wet. The shirt hung and dripped onto a towel for hours and, when it was dry, it was longer and closer to a tunic than it had ever been. I loved the extra length. I don?t hand-wash or re-wet my shirt before hanging but, if you really want the extra length you may want to experiment: the weight of the water will definitely make it longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NHGlove My ONLY Summer Jersey for years and years and.....
I have this shirt in just about every color that looks good on me. It is "MY" shirt.
I knew it would shrink in the dryer so I throw it in for about ten minutes, on low, and then air dry it. It isn't technically a tunic but back when it was first featured, it was the only long shirt that LLB was featuring. With a long torso, it was perfect on me.
Ah, but then came the infamous weight gain, from medicine and illness, and my shirts didn't look so cool on me. What was I going to do?
I discovered they came in plus sizes! I ordered all that remained in blue, black and a light blue. They fit me fine in an 1X. I was very disappointed to see my shirt isn't made in a 1X this year.
I've lost some of the dreaded weight and I'm hoping my XL's will fit me this summer but in the meantime, before that judgment day, please consider bringing them back in the plus sizes, LL Bean.
They have a neckline that flatters just about everyone. They're cool in the summer and can be worn right through until late Fall, with a jacket or shawl. The 3/4 sleeves are a plus for someone with arthritic elbows, like me but is attractive on all.
They wash beautifully but they do shrink in the dryer but my drying method takes very little time.
The look great with shorts, which is what I was still wearing when I started buying them, way back when, and they always look great with jeans. They look great with capris.
I also wear them with my Essential knit pants. They are, in my opinion, a shirt that would look as good on my daughter as they would on me. Well.......they'd look better on her because she's young and beautiful but you follow my thinking. This is a shirt that knows no age.
In my opinion, this shirt is the best shirt LL Bean has ever carried and I love them for it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mj1127 My favorite everyday shirt
I have this shirt in white, cream, and black, and wear all three every week in everything but the very hottest weather. I bought them just over a year ago. The black and cream both look more or less new; the white is a little dingy (I don't use bleach), but looks fine as long as I don't wear it with other white garments. They have not shrunk at all. The fabric is substantial and soft, and the lines of the shirt are graceful, working well alone or under a sweater or jacket.
I am 5' tall, 130 lbs, with a big frame for my height and larger bust, and I bought these in a medium. I probably could have taken a small. The length is great, very flattering with slim pants, but the body of the shirt is a little loose. Still, that does not prevent me from wearing them almost every day, including right now. I'd love to see this shirt in heather grey; otherwise I can't think of another way to improve it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LuvBateau No Plus Sizes?
This top is fabulous for plus sizes because it hangs so much better than pima cotton. It's wonderful in so many ways, the 3/4 sleeves, the bateau neck, and the fabric itself. Please, please bring it back. I was looking forward to getting it in various colors and was so disappointed to find out it has been discontinued in plus sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LunarUna I would love to buy this BUT it only comes inMisse
I have several of these from last year and the year before and have been haunting the webpage. They are a better length than the pima cotton tees the fabric is a tad heavier so it hides more and the measurements are better. Please bring these back in womens sizes
1x 2x and 3x. I wear a 1 x if I go to the pima cotton I have togo up a size and then they are too short and I am only 5'4".

Rated 3 out of 5 by wnyskater Tunic?
Funny how "tunic" refers to a shirt a little longer than a belly button exposing top...In my opinion, a tunic is a shirt which reaches the mid-thigh. This shirt is a shirt...that is, it descends below the waist, ending mid-butt. Overall, it is a nice shirt, but don't wash it or dry it because it will quickly shrink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by QualityComfortFirst BEST TEE EVER!!
These are the best ever, Bean's Tee, Three-Quarter Sleeve Boatneck Tunic. The quality of the fabric is a nice substantial weight without being heavy. The tee material is soft against the skin and there are no tags at the neck line! YEAH! There is a slight give in the material, as you might get with any tee shirt material which makes the tee very comfortable. The extra length of the tee makes wearing under a jumper so much more comfortable since it does not ride up and bunch up. In the cold weather or the heat of the summer these tees are extremely comfortable.
I have many colors of these tees and they wash really well and are color fast.
At the rate I am going I will have every color soon since they work out for me so well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Abagailv Love this shirt!
I just received this tunic today in black, white, and strawberry pink which is more of a coral color. Very pretty color. These shirts are so soft, comfortable and fit perfectly. Very happy with this purchase and everything so far from L L Bean! Love the free shipping too!
