Rated 2 out of 5 by Virginiakayaker Awkward to use and smelly
I wasn't at all happy with this product. It was difficult to figure out how to place my 13 foot plastic kayak on it and fastening the webbing required the help of another person (or a third hand). It also is heavy and doesn't fold nicely to fit on or in my kayak.
And I have an odd complaint. The cart stinks like petroleum (from the wheels). I thought the smell would go away, but it hasn't.
I did think this cart seemed sturdier than some of the comparably priced carts, i.e., the Paddleboy. But the Paddleboy -- which a friend uses -- was so much easier to use, and stored easier on the boat. I plan to exchange this cart for the Paddleboy.

what more can I say? It does the job and I am able to disassemble it and take it with me in my kayak. I've use this on sand as well as our surfaces and it does the job...

Nicely built cart with good cockpit strap. In case you have a more ROUNDED BOTTOM RIVER KAYAK, please note that this WILL NOT accommodate it. I have a Liquid Logic which will not work with this. I've used mine with different kayaks and the LLBean Perception, but it will only work on a kayak with a v shape in the bow or stern due to the narrow opening above the V.

Rated 1 out of 5 by PrincetonNJGuy Cheap, flimsy
Cheap and flimsy. The wheels were narrow and hard rubber (as opposed to air tires). Since most of the places we canoe are surrounded by dirt, gravel, or mud, this was not suitable for moving the canoe.

I have a Pungo 120 and this carts moves it easily and I can put into the kayak while paddling. Great buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wislady Haven't tried it but looks hi-quality
I bought this mid-Oct and haven't used it but am impressed with the sturdiness of the metal. Appears to be made at a top quality level. I purchased this after reading reviews and because of Bean's 100% Satisfaction policy. Packaging was very good, lots of protection from sturdy cardboard. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't used it. Plus I had a small gift card that helped with the price.

Glad I got this. Works great with my kayaks. Only wish it collapsed, but that's only a minor complaint.

Simplifies moving a kayak (or canoe) without jeopardizing the back. Simple to use, secure attachment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by OldTownCanoe Too light
The concept is good, but this product is much too light to move my 90-pound canoe across rough ground. The hard rubber tires are too small and incapable of absorbing bumps on uneven terrain. I had to replace them with much larger inflatable tires, which required building a larger axle and enlarging the axle holes in the frame. It took some serious modifications to turn this product into something that I could use.

this is my second purchase of an llbean kayak cart...great price and a very effective transport method for moving your kayak to the water...we have a very light swift kayak and a heavy plastic beast that we let anyone use...a loon...so a wheelie cart is a must to make it a one person event!!...the cart is light, folds up easily, and rolls over anything reasonable..go for it...we wheel our kayaks down the lane, over grass, onto sand and rocks and into the water of lake george.
